Mountain Dew have a regional bias?

Just wondering if the limited amount of WoW promo Mountain Dew products was just being sent to big markets. I live in a God forsaken part of upstate NY and all the Mt Dew promo cases were for outdoor climbing gear.

It’s laws of your country, If pepsi co could, they would for more money.

I live in the boonies in the foothills of SC but our local Wal-Mart, Ingles, and Circle K’s carry the WoW promo but I’ve never seen the Outdoor Gear promo you mentioned.

So either it’s a regional thing or up to whoever is buying the stores stock.

Some countries flat out ban the Dew because they’re not huge fans of the ingredients, especially food colorings. Think things like Skittles are in the same category.

Different stores stock different items depending on store trends.

Yeah, Skittles is banned because of the dyes used. Same thing why Pop Tarts and Little Debbie Swiss cakes are banned.

But since the dyes are considered safe by whoever said it was safe in the US we get to enjoy such tasty snacks.

not a bias, a regiional sanction by the EU

I live in the middle of farm country in NC, and I havent seen any cases yet either. But I have found plenty of 20 oz bottles, so I’m using those instead

If you find the new flavors, they are 200 points each…which still means the bike is super cheap by wow standards.

I have yet to see any WoW specific promo Mt. Dew stuff, but almost every bottle I see has the Xbox logo with “Unlock gaming rewards” across the top of the label and those work too.

Stores near me don’t carry, have to drive a few cities over. It be like that sometimes

should have a black tag that says points with xbox, that’s what you’re looking for

Most of this is just stores choices on stocking select items. It’s the stores that choose what they carry not vendors like pepsico ect. They may only carry a limited amount until they see how it sells.

Nah, Food and things like that have a system called Fifo. First in, First out. There’s a promo they’ve had going on with that as well, I’ve seen some in my area. But that stuff will have to get used up before new product gets set out. At least, that’s my logic on it as a former food worker.

yeah, might be a while before you start seeing it in stores until they sell off the, for walmart they may not get stock until 3 weeks from now

use this and look for specifically the gamefuel stuff. that worked for me to find some after going to a few grocery stores and not finding any of the promotional stuff.

i now have 2 cases of cherry citrus mt dew I’m not going to drink lol

It’s the Citrus Blackberry and Citrus Cherry bottles and drink cases that have WoW characters on them. These are the only ones I haven’t seen in store. All the other Mtn Dew varieties with the generic Xbox labels are in stock. And Doritos if you’re looking for Xal.

naw in this case…it’s just a region of this god forsaken state stocking something else…tho the hilarity that anyone in to climbing would drink that poison is next level

This was what I figured the problem was with the Mountain Dew. I have friends in the EU and one time we were talking about food, they said caffeine amounts in soft drinks were really heavily regulated. Given it’s distinctly possible two to three bottles of Mountain Dew could power half of the Vegas Strip overnight, I imagine that’s too much caffeine. :joy:
