Is there any settings to lower the mount towards the bottom of the screen while flying instead of it being dead center? I really want to use bigger mounts that Ive worked for, but even zooming back leaves it to be too big on the bigger ones.
the only thing Ive found to do is just pan forward to first person view and not see the mount at all.
Just wondering if I missed a setting in there somewhere that moves the camera angle up so the mount is lower in the screen.
Would also be nice if we had the option to smooth out the flying path of the sky goblin. It’s an amazing mount for harvesting flowers, but the drunk all-over-the-screen flying is annoying as anything.
yeah…that makes me not want to use it after a while.
Its the same with the Mists worms. they take up a chunk of the screen and that motion is distracting.
Would like to just move then entire mount to the bottom of the screen and leave the center open.
22 or 24 inch…cant quite remember. Ive had them for a while.
Seems like 24, maybe.
I think on my old 22", I couldn’t even stack the bars on the right side. I always thought that that option was broken in the options menu, but it turns out my screen was just too small.
I think my mounts were pretty big on the 22". A 27" is glorious. I’d recommend that or larger for a future upgrade… if it’s in the cards.
really getting tempted to buy a bigger monitor, but I have two 24 screens running now so I can play on one and do something else on the other.
Feel like Id have to give up the second monitor if i got a bigger one.
Ya… I have that problem. I can’t fit my old 22" on my desk right now with the 27". It might fit vertical, though. I use a second monitor at work, and I can only imagine how convenient it would be to game and have a browser or something open on a second monitor…
Part of the problem is our ‘desk’ is an 8 foot table, lol.
The wife gets 4 feet and I get 4.
These two monitors are actually kinda filling up my 4 feet as it is.
Was hoping there was just a setting I missed somewhere…that or an addon that could just pan up when on a mount so the mount was lower in the screen.
I’m not sure if zooming out more will help you any, but you could see if the mouse wheel zoom level option exists, so that you can zoom out further. I won’t be in game until tonight, so I can’t check the settings, unfortunately. I am unaware of an actual way to shift the location on screen.
I don’t use add-ons, so I have no idea what exists out there.
The Actioncam setting allow you to move the position of your character on the screen, but they are command-line only and obtuse.
The DynamicCam addon is the best way I’ve found to manage the settings and specify different positions while mounted and in other situations. It’s a bit complicated to set up but works very well.
