wowzers! thats impressive!! since you are a fine collector of mounts, i just have a tad over 150… many of those mounts in mount mania, when i start typing them out i dont even see them showing up as collected/not collected (aka they flat out dont even show for me as an option).
Is there some scret menu/option/addon i need to fully populate my mount list even if i dont have a said mount?

Rarity is a good add on for mounts if your farming
is that an addon that allows you to click the mount mania chick as she is saying next up… or is that one that shows you where/how to get the mounts or is it one that just says all the mounts in the game if you have them or not?
It counts your kills, also tells you about events where you can get mounts, and tells you if the mob drops a mount

i have seem mounts that players can get easy and i had 2 store mounts back to back in one event lol

That alienates half the playerbase when those would come up. So far I’ve only seen mounts that everyone can use regardless of class or fraction. I haven’t even seen class mounts pop up yet.
But yeah, having a permanent one show up in Dorn would be sweet. Let it be a new weekly event like the theatre. Just something that starts up every hour and gives a reward for the first completion then just a bragging rights buff after that.
There is another filter, hidden mounts I think, that shows mounts that have been removed or in black market auction house, like black proto drake.

I absolutely love mount mania but the only thing that I will pick at is trading post mounts.
The event is supposed to be a reflection of 20 years of WoW. Trading post mounts just doesn’t feel right in my opinion

she’s put up the creeping carpet, which is a tailoring-only mount that you cannot use if you’re not a tailor, in 2 consecutive mount manias last week.
it also skews towards a ton of trading post mounts in my experience. I haven’t seen a single one of those hand mounts you got in the Maw, but I’ve seen the trading post one multiple times. She hasn’t put up the Undersea Usurper mount once, but has put up the blue recolor multiple times.
Would agree it’s very fun though

Yeah, but anyone can be those professions. Anyone can be an enginner or a tailor. An Alliance player can’t summon a Horde mount. Not even with an off-chance of happening to have the correct credentials to be able to use the mount. (Like having the right profession)
And anyone could have access to the trading post mounts if they had bought them. That’s fair ground, even if I don’t necessarily agree with it.
But if she had called up a Dreadsteed (Warlock class mount), your rogue and my DK would be screwed 100%. We have a 0% chance to be able to summon that mount. Unlike a profession mount which we COULD have a chance, even if it’s a small one.
Same goes with faction mounts.
I also think they should remove restrictions on mounts in mount mania. Like if you’ve got a profession mount from another character, or an Ardenweald mount or class mount from legion that you normally can’t use, you should be able to use it in the mount mania ring.
The one time I almost got 15/15 I missed one and it was the night fae mount that the character I was on wasn’t able to use.
I like mount mania it gives me an idea of x amount of people have the holiday mounts out of curiosity.
I wish they had pet mania as well!
