Where did you hear this? This does make sense to me, as it did 3 rounds same realm and the same mounts were popping up. so maybe I am grouping with the same players.
nah it 100% will pull mounts that are no longer obtainable it pulled out a season 1 dragonflight glad mount and a shadowlands glad mount.

It may not be the players so much as everyone has certain mounts so they will show up the most. Like what I mentioned earlier. I was grouped with a bunch of hard core PvP peeps for one of the events and it was all Glad and PvP mounts popping up. I had none of them.
if thats true would explain why it pulled out dragonflight season 1s glad mount when i first did it.
I think we are talking about 2 entirely different mounts 
no there were servers with the ahn qiraj event gong not rung yet so they got them like that
during wrath
That was a very rare occurrance.
This mount was pretty much a 2 day vanilla exclusive mount. Other than the dead servers that didn’t get rung.

Cool. That’s not when the event happened nor when most of them went out. And most of the ogs aren’t around anymore. Shesh.

so since creating this ive done another mount mania, and so far every round (5 so far) there has been a soaring meaderbee as one of the mounts. Again, random data - but interesting
i saw a Phosphorescent Stone Drake so the list have mounts from rares

I didn’t realize how rare it was until I pulled mine out and everyone else mounted the color variations.
It’s completely random. One Mania, we had the Swift Zulian Tiger and the Swift Razzashi Raptor back-to-back, both from old ZG.
it must be heavily weighted toward collector’s edition mounts, i havent seen a round without one

I had that mechagon spider pop up twice (fortunately for me, since that’s one of my favorites). Probably just coincidence, or maybe Legion just didn’t have that many mounts.
