Mount making noises consistently?

My Sapphire Panther keeps growling when I am using it, like when flying it especially when it’s moving. Is this normal, if not anyone know a fix to get it to stop doing this?

No it’s continuous not just with the space bar, it’s like I’m mounting and then dismounting it, its consistently growling. I saw someone posted this issue in the past and was just wondering.

Mine isn’t doing this. I’d open a ticket. That constant noise would drive me crazy! :scream:

There are two fixes:

  1. Ignore it.
  2. Mute sound.

You can silence pets using in game settings. I shut them up long ago. It’s great. Can’t help you with worgens though. You could probs delete the sound file. I think there are add-ons for that sort of thing. They started because people hate the train emotes and deleted the sound files for that as well.

I also recommend deleting the sound file for the heirloom mount. Without a doubt the most obnoxious mount in the game by far.

They sometimes make noises when you change directions, like strafing.

If you spam Q and E your mount will flip out and make all of the noises.

Good for bugging your friends that have game sound enabled.

What’s great is if you interrupt the sniffing that the female worgen do by spamming jump or strafe, you can sometimes bug the sound and make it play over and over.

It’s kind of entertaining.

That sounds about as entertaining as being woken by a car alarm, a baby screaming, and an air horn at 4am. Sign me up.

Oh yea. You reminded of the worgens laugh that gets put on loop when using the selfie cam. Like nails on chalkboard. Whichever sound engineer designed that is a sadist.
