Where do you plan to level (assuming you’re questing) and why?
My guess would be Hyjal will be vastly preferred due to the hate underwater content normally gets, but figured I’d ask the community!
It all started with Vashj’ir, I imagine many people will avoid that zone like the plague. I kinda like it though.

I want to do Vashj’ir but for reputation reasons it’s quite literally the worst decision I could make
Hyjal is dull. Vashj’ir was amazing the first time around. Unique and fun. Especially when the final quest still functioned.
It’s a travesty the raid there was never completed.
I doubt the final quest will even be intact this go around with how poorly pre patch has been handled. But it’s still Vashj’ir for me.

Vashj’ir, swimming is a minor inconvenience to me and the zone is beautiful
The numerous large mobs in the zone add a lot too

That’s kinda of where I’m at. Was part of the reason for this poll. I really loved Vashj’ir, but do I pick the zone I like more or the “minmax” option?
I settled on just doing it on my Druid, I’ll need to level her after my Shaman anyway for gathering so it works out

I don’t know why people are so focused oh min maxing Classic. It’s already beaten and solved content. You’re not setting any records.

I think it’s FOMO. People will feel like they are behind if they don’t because a much larger playerbase minmaxs nowadays whether it’s video games, dnd, etc. Even in singleplayer games people do it.
Reputations are an important factor beyond minmaxing. The barrier of entry between normal dungeons and heroics is very tight in Cataclysm, and doing the quests in relevant zones gives a lot of reputation, which leads to easy gear which leads to a quicker path into heroics

Yeah I am one that doesn’t care for underwater play. Hyjal and dungeon grinding for me.
What else are you going to do?
Each zone has rep. Why would you be behind if you quested Vashj’ir?
Its probably just slower cuz you cant use flying mount. If you arent going for server first 85 it doesnt matter.

My 1st toon through will quest all new zones through, even if I cap before finished. After that, my norm will probably be Hyjal, Deepholm, Twilight. Not crazy about underwater but I do want the seahorse and I stlll prefer Vash to Uldum

Most of my later wrath chars were in bg basically from 60 and on.
I’ll do just what I did last time. My healers will mostly level up in dungeons and quest at cap for the extra gold. Some of my dps will level in Hyjal and others in Vashn’ir. I like to experience all the zones.
I have both the turtle mount and the fishing master trinket, not going to the underwater zones would be a sin.
