They should have let us choose right at the start for a true metric of dragon riding.

All i want is to use DR in the old world lol.
I dont think people realise how big DF maps are, you will prolly be more annoyed with your regular mount than using dragonriding.

I hope it’s soon. There are things I’d like to finish it Flappy Isles but I can’t dragon ride more than a few minutes before having to log off.

I don’t mind dragon flying but I don’t want to be limited to JUST 5 mounts.

I want my old mounts back. Dragonriding is horrible for gathering.

You always could and still can: just be in a zone that allows flying.

Possibly next patch as they are adding dragon flying to a number of mounts and a toggle to switch between that and normal flying.

They haven’t told players it is coming in 10.1.5, so probably not earlier than 10.2. They may make it by the prepatch.
Nah, the next stop for the General Discussion Forum’s goalpost will be “you have to make regular flying as fast as dragonriding, Blizz!! I can never get to rares or nodes in time!”

There has been no word on it yet from Blizz.
Oh absolutely. As soon as they get bored/angry about how much faster people dragonriding are getting stuff done they will be on their crusade to get old flight speeds increased.
I personally love dragonriding and believe that’s the way flight should have been from the beginning. I won’t go back to old flight as long as dragonriding is an option.

The only thing that is known is that old flight is being removed and DR will be in all zones but as to when that is a mystery still.
