Hi me again,
I’ve been googling mount costs and nothing tells me anything. How much will epic mount training/mount cost me in prepatch? thought it would be cheaper right?
Got plenty of gold just dont wanna waste it if its going to be cheaper in a few weeks anyway. My slow horse is a good boy

If you’re looking for a cheap ground mounts for prepatch I’d suggest to first learn the factions mount training ~90g then, when prepatch hits the cost of mounts and training are flipped so now you can get a mount for 90g rather than 800g.
As for flying it’s gonna cost ~6.2k since you need normal flying to get which is 1k iirc and epic is 5k plus mount which is ~200g
Prices may vary with reputation.
Also hi, strange to see people from the server here.

I think the price change comes with the release, not the pre-patch.
That doesn’t sound right. The pre-patch should be all the rule changes and races. Basically everything but the dark portal being opened and experience turned back on for level 60s.
I could be wrong though. Certainly wouldn’t be the first nor the last time.
always scared that people from arugal will find me lmao
I feel like I read somewhere that if you don’t have an epic mount in your bags, you don’t get the epic training at launch. Basically, you can’t cheat the system.
But I think the overall cost will still be cheaper after pre patch.

Mount costs will be the expensive part and the mounts the cheap part.
I’ll get you the actual TBC costs tomorrow when I am on the beta.
As it looks now.
If you have a regular Epic mount it will award the 150 riding skill
ZG tiger and bug mount and AV mounts
Award 150 skill.
Paladin and Warlock 60 quest mounts award 150 skill
Non epic mounts award 75 skill
From what I am told and I have only found one person on TBC beta who has only the PvP epic and no other epic; it awards the 75 skill (According to him) but has a lower level required 55 I think; this is a change from the formerly 40 required.
The new PvP badge mounts will require the 150 skill, they are different but look the same.
I hope that helps, I’ll get the actual costs later, sorry I don’t have that info for you now.
