Took a long break from the game (Nov to Jan) then just as long of a break from mount farming (as you can see from the first mount on this list). Kind of back into it because my goal for SL was to hit at least 600 in case Blizzard finally gets of their butt and gives us another achievement mount.

Just created my 3rd mount in Zereth Mortis! Created me the Pale Regal Cervid mount! This takes me to 543 mounts obtained now! 
Update: Just purchased my 544th mount for getting Exalted with The Enlightened in Zereth Mortis! My newest mount is the Heartlight Vombata!

Decided to switch to the Kyrian Covenant tonight and start working on the Campaign Quests for them. Just got my 547th mount as a result! My newest mount is the Elysian Aquilon!
Edit: Got my 548th mount just now from the Campaign Questline for Kyrian. My newest mount is the Phalynx of Courage!
Edit #2: Just earned my 549th mount for doing the Campaign Questline for the Kyrian. My newest mount is the Eternal Phalynx of Courage!

Just reached the 550 mounts obtained mark for my main in-game! My newest mount is the Battle-Hardened Aquilon from the Death’s Advance Quartermaster in Korthia!
I also purchased the Ascendant’s Aquilon mount tonight. So I actually got 551 mounts at this time. I forgot to mention it earlier.

Hm, haven’t gotten any new mounts in 2 weeks but suddenly the mount count in the “Lord of the Reins” achievement jumped to 296

Got (2) more mounts tonight in Zereth Mortis! Created me the Russet Bufonid mount. As a result of this, I earned the meta-achievement in Zereth Mortis, “From A to Zereth”, Which rewarded me the Cryptic Aurelid mount!
As a result of this, I now have obtained 553 mounts on my main character in-game!
