So I bought a mount on the BMAH that was Horde Only on my Alliance character. Thinking that I can add it to my account with no problem. However, that doesn’t seem to the case, keep getting an error message. Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve tried to send it to one of my Horde toons already, didn’t seem to work.

Dont buy Horde Only stuff on Alliance is my advice.

I think youd have an easier time asking a church for your sunday donation back than asking Blizzard for a service refund.

Faction change to horde. Learn mount. Wait 72 hours and faction change back.
I’d be scared that the mount item would also swap.

Yeah, I have the feeling that’s what’d happen.
It’ll swap over to the other faction version, and you’re still screwed.
Looting an item you can’t use, especially a mount, should never be an option to begin with.

Oh that’s a shame, OP. You could try putting in a ticket, and maybe a GM can help you in some way. But I wouldn’t rate your chances very high.
You could always buy a faction change. Not a great solution, but probably the only thing you can actively do.
You’d be surprised actually. They say the sales are final but if you stick a ticket in they will usually make exceptions as long as you don’t do it often.
