Motion Sickness - still an issue?

I’ll have to try this again, because in beta, this wasn’t the case and I lost all full screen effects, not just the outside speed lines. If this works, then I stand corrected by those outside speed lines!

Yeah, that’s still an issue for some, too, unfortunately. :frowning:

I’ll double check that I’m about to do an instance and I may have had it lowered anyway idk.

There’s an alternate setting for that I thought somewhere. Idk they moved it all around and I’m still slightly confused on what is what.

agreed…HOWEVER…
they SHOULD have made them all accessible at the start…not a ‘discovery’ thing…hiding them till you find them IMHO

It isn’t really ignoring when you reply in my threads… but, you are offended, I get it; I’m sorry you feel that way.

I posted your video for others to see, because it may help some, so thank you! :purple_heart:

This may have already been answered, but go to Options>Accessibility and choose “Alternate full-screen effects”. Did wonders for me.

Oh, for the effects on the dragon itself, I find it easier to a) use a smaller form-factor dragon like the velocidrake or wylderdrake (I know he’s ugly by default but he just needs a little TLC lol) and b) zoom out as far as you can, and c) be in a room that isn’t pitch black (I’m so guilty of that)

Not playing DF. shrugs I’ve still got plenty of other things to do in game.

I do something similar. Any time I mount up the dragon, I scroll out back as far as possible and do a 45 tilt from above/behind. The lines don’t get me so much. The races can be rough, especially when they also screw your orientation afterward. Taking breaks after races, and making a /reload macro has made this a lot better for me. The closer to first person, the more motion sickness when movement is involved.

Spell effects are turned down/off wherever possible, I use G.T.F.O. addon to keep me from standing in bad since many of the circles without spell effects can be difficult to decipher.

Yes. I still play, but fly sparingly. I don’t mind using my ground mount and will use FP from time to time.

It is still a problem I never realize it affected me but hit that surge and my mind went blank, then the backward appearance it gave me was too much,so I now rarely hit it .

As for the rest of op’s comment ,there are many windows you see in people in general all of them are possibilities for agendas ,some are illusions to cover up and some are actual ,you have to weed out it but time is only one that can tell,of course ,if you know the pattern than it is clear.
