Motion Sickness Mode

I can appreciate the Aracnophobia Mode that was added. I can even appreciate the Motion Sickness options that have been added. I am not one to play WoW in 1st person so when on certain flying mounts (Mostly the Sky Golem) I end up with EXRETEME eye fatigue (I’m starting to lose my vision), and even though I do NOT get motion sick usually the movements of certain mounts make the enjoyment of the game less for me.

I’d love that, the Sky Golem is shaking this baby over here

No offense but OP GD is more so to share ideas/thoughts with players not Blizzard Devs.

If you want to do the same with Blizz Devs use the submit feedback button in game. This is really your best and only course of action in this case

Ok, was there something you wanted to ask them to do about it?

So maybe don’t use the mount?
There are several hundred available in the game.
Like the solution is painfully obvious is it not?

this can be caused by refresh rate of your system…have you looked into a better monitor?

After twenty years in flight simulator development, if I ever had any tendency towards motion sickness it’s long since been burned out of me.

But I still find the Sky Golem’s gyrating shenanigans annoying.

That one makes me sick and gives me a headache, too.

I’ve had vertigo for many many months and I require a scopolamine patch, motion sickness pills, and migraine meds to play right now.

So I completely feel your pain.

Not necessarily. The Sky Golem allows for herb gathering while mounted. While there is a branch of the herbalism specialization tree that also allows for it, not everyone puts knowledge points in that section straight away.

eh, it really is. the sky golem isn’t a requirement for herbalism.

I hate the mount and refuse to use it.

if someone really wants to herb while mounted, they could level a druid alt.

They tell you leave feedback via the forums sometimes.

People leave feedback here all the time. Heck I leave feedback and the discussion allows the devs to see some stuff.

Devs do not come to GD forums at all. Community managers do. Devs will never see anything here unless a community manager sees it and feels its a big enough issue to escalate to the dev team.

Devs visit the Bug Report section, In development section and maybe class forums that’s it.

However using the submit feedback button in game does go to the devs. So I stand my my original statement to the OP. This isn’t a Critical Issue that a Community Manager will escalate. Those are the instances you should post in GD about.

I never use the sky golem - it just isn’t required in any way. You don’t need to pick herbs while mounted it is a convenience.

Uh… then what about this?

First suggestion is the forums. Idk if that necessarily means devs do or dont read it, but the forums are definitely the first avenue suggested.

Doesn’t mention GD anywhere. Bug Report section, In development section class forums are “community forums”

GD is intended for players to discuss things wither other players. End of story. Thats its intention.

In-game “Submit Feedback” option is still the best.

I didn’t say it was.

Still, it’s a useful mount. But no one has to use it. Personally, I think it’s rather ugly and as soon as I had enough KP to make it so that I could gather herbs on a different mount, I definitely did that. Not everyone wants to play a druid, so the mount works as stop gap.

" You can submit feedback and suggestions for improving World of Warcraft in one of two places:

Everything I just listed are “Community Forums”

Click the link

It opens the forum front page

And what is right under community? General discussion.
