Mostly ignored

  • Lack of blue post.

  • Last reply to a thread was like September 10th.

  • Last Live Chat was December 12th last year, so probably they already discarded those…

CMs don’t do threads asking for their feedback on patches, ptr…etc, so why keep a subforum sample of the playerbase at this point…

If the idea was to have a less “toxic” sample to communicate and interact.

Maybe they’re using their discord and other platforms  :man_shrugging:

I know a lot of people were saying it was a PR stunt (validity of that I will let you decide), but this was one of the biggest concerns I had initially.

The CC was make or break from its inception, and I would say it arguably failed from its first CC. Not saying the first CC was bad, it just wasn’t what I think most people expected to happen when it was announced (or if you were pessimistic it was).

A lot of the posts in the CC have seemed ignored, or at the very least not responded too by Blizzard, and we all know that most people want to see confirmation that Blizzard is listening. The whole “special discord” was a big hit to the transparency of the whole CC, and I think partially why one of the first members got removed within the first few months for not falling in line.

I don’t even look at the CC topics anymore. There is a lot of passion for some of the topics but next to no observable traction in the forums. Maybe it’s happening on Twitter (X) or Discord, I certainly don’t see it (not a big Twitter user) so I have no clue.

Regardless of why, I would label it as a failed project in its current state. It seemed okish at first but progressively declined. It would take significant change to get me to acknowledge it again, but that’s doubtful given the Blizzard track record.
