I know allot of people seem to dislike pandas but I actually love them and the art style of Panderia (even though I hate questing there). What is your least favorite race in the game and why? For me it is Gnomes & Goblins. Both are ugly and deserve to be punted on sight.
Go ahead, TRY and punt me Elf #698745698356345. You’ve no idea how much you’ll regret it.
Also for myself, it’s a tie between Humans and Elves. Boooooooooring.
As an altaholic I grew to love ALL of my children. They are all wonderful and unique.
Yes, there isn’t a race I haven’t leveled.
I appreciate all the races of Azeroth, both new and old. The one that always seemed out of place to me were the Yaungol. Not because I don’t enjoy the lore surrounding them, but because they’ve caused some confusion in the lore as to what race is the Tauren progenitor race.
There was a resource somewhere that said the Yaungol are the progenitor race of the tauren, but then they branched off? Are the Yaungol of today that same progenitor race or have they changed since then? It confuses me. Also there are just a lot of tauren variants in general. It’s like we get another new one every other expansion.
p.s. I hope this topic is not limited to player-only races.
I’ll have you know that I am Elf #698745698356346. Get it right, little green soccer ball.
You dare mock the precious gnomes! Night elves are now my least favorite.
Words mean nothing. Actions mean everything. Come on, PUNT ME. DO IT. This totally isn’t a trap!
Glad I can help!
Not a fan of goblins or gnomes. Don’t care for the shorties.
Also mogs look pretty bad on them for the most part. Unless its specially made for them like gnome heritage armor.
People say Humans are generic and boring.
Maybe in 2006, but these days? Elves are one of the most over saturated and boring race in the game.
How many times are you gonna tell the, MUH WELL story.
Blood Elves. When I see them, I feel like Tyler Durden and want to destroy something beautiful.
Ehh… Hate isn’t the word I would use but humans are on the absolute bottom of my list. Why would you play a human in a fantasy game… its like if you could be anything in the universe would you be a janitor at starbucks? I don’t think humans should be in the game, if not for the fact they arent interesting, then for the fact the humans drag the story down and make things boring whenever they get lore focus.
Gnomes and dwarfs arent much better since they are Human Lite and Diet Human but at least they have some interesting lore beyond “We human so we goods!”
I think hate is pretty strong.
I like all races but I probably wouldn’t see myself playing Cows or Pandas.
I have a female human mage as my alt and I rolled her because I wanted to view Azeroth from the perspective of a common human. So I did it specifically for fantasy purposes.
I don’t hate any race actually, though there are some I just don’t play. This is not in regards to story though as I do not recognize any actual story or plot line at this point.
Yep yaungol were the original tauren who roamed old Kalimdor and were taught by Cenarius. Eventually they were enslaved into the mogu empire then freed after the pandaren rebellion.
After that their culture fractured apart. Some of them traveled north to what would become Northrend, others went back to central Kalimdor, the rest stayed in Pandaria. Then after the Sundering all three tribes were officially disconnected. That’s how the tauren, taunka and yaungol came to be.
Gnomes are for hugs, not for punts!
I’d like to see them as an allied race at some point. I actually think they have a neat story.
And I think they are going to be the focus in the next expansion being the only races able to be Tinkers at the start of the expansion. Assuming Tinkers is the next class and Vulpera don’t somehow get squeezed in. Sure they would fit the bill for Tinker as well.
I’ll hug you… right after you bounce off the ground a few times.
