Flowers is an autosexual anthem. But most people don’t naturally shift personage, the message of the song would probably be better received if it was like “You can love yourself better than they can” which is probably true I mean unless they are psychic

The thing I have against Flowers more than anything, is that it’s a giant dig at her ex-husband, despite the fact she’s been in relationships since they broke up/divorced.
Further, she makes accusations of him cheating etc in the song, she has previously stated he never cheated and so on.
Finally, she intentionally released the song on his birthday. Dog act.
I can’t enjoy music that was created in such a manner. I guess I just tend to dislike music in general that is used to criticise people, when the artist fully knows said person can’t fight back.
Dear Mr President by Pink was another one. Yes, it was Dubya. But he was still POTUS at the time.

everything bluntly political music artists make for me, there are ways to have more tact and most the time their music just is mediocre and even if it’s on the off chance “good” it makes it highly controversial to share.

she put it in the I am mode, so you repeat it to yourself any time you listen. telling yourself “I can do it”. it’s actually quite brilliant.
Most people who say they dont like nickleback say so because the internet tells them to.
Also
Anything by Beyonce or Lizzo is bad music to me .
Beyonce makes songs telling females they dont need a man for whatever reason , then goes home to her rich husband .
And lizzo has been shoved down my throat so many times over the past 2 years im sick of her
