Most gothic race and class - who do you think?

For most gothic race and class I’m thinking:

Void elf
Undead

Warlock
Death Knight

What’s gothic?
style of music that grew away from Punk in the late 1970’s. it was made popular by bands such as Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees, and was known for its guitar melodies, darker themes and danceable beats. along with the music came a certain fashion sense consisting of very dramatic eye makeup (taken from the ancient egyptians), teased hair and tattered clothing made of lace and velvet.

worgen are probably the most gothic race looking at gilneas.

Why do you do this to me? I don’t need anymore 2d waifus, and goth chicks with massively oversized weapons is a huge weakness of mine.

Undead and Worgen are very goth races. Classes? Warlock, DK, and DH fit the bill.

Void Elves are more like tumblr weeaboos who photoshop galaxy patterns all over their favorite manga girls.

excuse you, they’re called “waifus” not “manga girls”.

and I use myspace thank you very much.

Easily undead.
As for class, death knight reminds me more of metal than goth rock/postpunk.
Maybe warlock?

Void elves are so goth that their blood is blue.

Good point! I can see metal for DK

The most gothic are, in fact, human warriors.

Historically, yeah.

“Black and red” doesn’t mean it’s goth. Ugh, I hate when normals think that putting on a pair of black stockings and a winged eyeliner think they’re suddenly goth.

I agree with this. Which class and race fits goth to you?

Belf blood DK

Why so, please

Forsaken are the dead so that’s kind of easy, thematically Blood Death Knights for class for the whole vampirism aspect.

Demonology Warlocks are at the top too, though I find their whole thing has gotten to be more “halloween special effect” than actually dark, brooding, or menacing.

Honestly nothing really fits perfectly, I think the most accurate representation of “goth” exists in the scholomance caster NPC’s. Darkmaster Gandling (is that his name?) is basically it.

No true necromancer class exists, but that would be it.

Unholy DK?

It could fit a bit, all the DK stuff really does. The whole decay part of it for sure, but honestly it’s kind of the same as I see warlocks being more like a halloween party trick, it’s just not aesthetically there.

Oh heck, I totally didn’t even mention Shadow Priest. That’s above even Blood DK for me. DK steps down because goth isn’t about being a juggernaut (that’s more death metal aesthetic), it’s much more accurately represented by spell casters, and shadow priests (ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAD THAT RAVEN ABILITY) were it for sure.
