Now what is the most fun Tank or healing spec?

Obligatory: There is no “most fun” of anything. I love Aff Lock. You might hate everything about it.
With that said.
Shaman is my favorite healer. The healing rotation is relaxed, giving you breaks from staring at raid frames while you do things such as drop a surge totem / cast chain heal. And the DPS “rotation” is fluent and feels natural.
Prot Paladin is by far my favorite Tank. There’s just something so satisfying about bonking enemies with your shield. Admittedly I haven’t played Prot since BFA, but I don’t think the elements I enjoyed have gone.
It was so much fun when I played it I considered becoming a Tank.
Ive never played DH Tank though. I know what it does on paper. But it could feel nice to play.
This.
But personally I really enjoy catweaving or hpal and I really like protpal too because of all the extra stuff they can all do.
Favorite Tank: Prot Pally
Favorite Healer: Resto Shaman
I’m over 40 and not as quick as I used to be so I like bear for tanking because it’s simple enough that I can focus my full attention on what’s going on around me.
For heals I’ve played around with a lot of them but I always come back to my shaman that I’ve been playing since BC. It’s always been the utility healer and so I always get a raid spot when I want one, even during times when it’s not considered top-tier in terms of throughput.
I always liked pally tanks. It was my 2nd main for ages
I dont heal a lot but I do remember shaman being fine. Holly was also a very easy one but could get boring at times
I just started a disc priest and am enjoying it. Still need to get my head around healing and doing dps and where to put them on my keybinds. It’s a bit like patting your head and rubbing your belly
Playing resto shaman will convince you that you’re a god-tier player. It’s deceptively easy to play, packed with utility, etc. great stuff.
For tanks, it depends. If you want to have the biggest impact on group success, blood dk is hard to beat. But, if you want the best setups for your dps (or if you put a lot) then bear might be the play. Bear is basically immune to damage for 30 seconds every 3 minutes, so you can pull insane numbers of mobs together. The pulls get more technical for the dps though, all you can do is hold it still.
Prot Pally is fun, like lots of people have said, but it’s a little less flexible. The Captain American shield thing is really neat though. But, it has the best interrupt toolkit in the game. Maybe a good middle ground? You don’t have as much control as the blood dk and not a hardbody like the bear, but kinda in the middle.
Blood Death Knight is the most fun healing and tank spec.
Resto Druids reign supreme.
Tank…Brewmaster
Healer…Resto Shaman.
lol. I swear sometimes someone high up at blizzard must main a Resto Shaman and so it gets some favorable treatment. That interrupt is off the hook and easy as anything to heal with while being able to get a half decent DPS ranking.
not saying someones getting special treatment, but if i were a conspiracy theorist, lol
I don’t pvp often, but a friend drags me into the occasional battleground. Over the weekend we did a few.
In one of them, there was this resto shaman who kept trucking me somehow. I don’t even know how. Just suddenly BAMF YOU’RE AT UNDER HALF LIFE.
Didn’t really kill me, but time and again being near them BAMF HALF HEALTH GONE. If someone else were on me at the time I would definitely have died. I still have no idea what the heck was occurring there but man did it feel wrong for a healer to be doing that. But wish I knew.
Edit: Note that I’m not saying “OMG NERF THEM” mind you.
Prot Pal is the most fund tank imo, partial no HPal too but I may be bias
doesnt surprise me.
Running 5 mans Ive often been able to keep the team topped and still get #2 or #3 on DPS. I mean, i do use help/harm macros for my four key rotation, Im sure that makes it easier, but any serious player should be using macros in the first place where they can.
im personally convinced Rshaman is getting attention for some reason. That interrupt alone is suspicious, lol
Blood DK for both.
They had the interrupt in BfA too and they were second class. Riptide can top someone off, healing rain charged cloudbursts just lines up with so many mechanics pretty well. Purge is more important this expansion than previously in several dungeons, and range meta emphasizes the kick more.
Not to mention brining lust and S tier healer damage. They really do have it all, no weak points in the kit other than me wishing banana beam was still a button you pressed.
Bear and resto druid, definitely not biased at all just ye know ignore the orange thing that say druid on this character here.
? what was that ?
Did i miss more good stuff? lol
OP, your question is entirely subjective because you’re not qualifying what you consider fun.
What kind of tank do you want to play? An old school tank n’spank style? If so, then go Bear. Want a tank that is highly versatile? Go Prot. Paladin. Want high mobility? DH. Sword and board? Warrior.
Same with healer. Want reactionary deep heals? Shaman. Proactive rolling heals? Druid. Want to mix up damage and heals? Paladin or Disc. Priest.
Answer your question for yourself and then go from there.
Chain heal used to be the best button in the kit. It also used to be yellow.
