What race do you have the most fun playing as your DK?
Or give me some cool racials that have utility you guys love to use for pve, pvp or flavor?
For me its Maghar orc. I love the (open skies) passive that gives me an extra 10% mounted movespeed. Helps me get around, both on the ground and in the air.
Over the years I switch between Male Dranei and female NE. I would do male NE if they didn’t have the hunch. I usually do Male Dranei if I’m in a guild and pushing content. There used to be an old school rule that if the tanks played a large race, they were easier to click on to heal. I kind of kept that mentality over the years.
DKs have [On a Pale Horse] passive, which gives 20% increased mounted speed that does not stack with any similar effects. So the Mag’har Open Skies racial is useless for a DK.
For me personally, it’s either night elf or tauren. Both have useful racials. Tauren’s War Stomp racial is super useful in M+ as an AoE pseudo-interrupt, and Night Elf’s Shadowmeld is quite handy as well.
My DK is a worgan and I love the RP combo of the rage of the worgan curse combined with the hunger for suffering and pain that the death knight has. Feels like the perfect combo for an unstoppable avatar of Death.
As for racial abilities, I don’t really pay attention to them much anymore. The bonuses are generally minor enough to make the choice largely cosmetic. I do like the Vulpera’s custom hearthstone point camp ability.
I’m actually trying to decide on a DK race myself.
Leaning towards undead for the double dead character. Also want a reason to use that ghoul hairstyle on undead.
I enjoy Goblin b/c Rocket Jump is very useful given DKs limited mobility. I also think goblins look very comical which is fun to me.
I love my gob dk. I use rocket jump constantly. It’s great when you are being knocked back/cc’ed and your grip is on cd.
Female Gnome 100%, no one will ever take you seriously until you crank damage while doing high-pitched screams!
Rootbreak racial is also very nice.
Worgen because the run speed racial helps me move my wheelchair faster.
Gobbo. As DW frost, I always laugh when my little ball of death ends up buzzsawing through people.
The 1% haste is a nice bonus and rocket boots have allowed me to survive or land a kill so many times that I feel naked when not playing a goblin.
People just don’t respect rocket boots on DK. Hunters especially. It’s always the one CD that gives me a chance when trading mobility CDs vs a hunter/mage/ww.
Worgen for the run speed ability also the runnin wild ability where they run on all 4s looks pretty on point as a DK. Mine is a Belf female though because they look good in everything.
Highmountain Tauren, BEBE! That charge racial is stupid awesome and has a good range given DKs are trash at mobility. lol
Blood Elf Male. Has the best laugh with the dk voice.
Night elf because they are the only one who get “normal” and different eyes than the same dumb boring blue eyes all the other races get. I mean it looks cool, but not unique and its really boring when every single character has the same exact eyes. Therefor, night elves win as they get access to night warrior eyes 
Every other class and race gets tons of eye cosmetics, but not DK. Even DH get different blindfolds they can put on lol.
I’m pretty sure it didnt used to stack but it does now. I looked in the spellbook and none of the mountspeed bonuses say they dont stack any longer.
Also I’ve tested it in battlegrounds. When we come out the gate in AV and Arathi basin, I’m always ahead of the pack by a long shot.

I definitely wouldn’t say Dwarves being able to remove all debuffs and either increase their primary stat or reduce damage taken by 10% is largely cosmetic.
Draenei can heal for something like 20% of their HP. That can be life saving for some classes who lack consistent healing.
As mentioned above, Tauren’s stun acts as an AoE interrupt. That’s great for tanks in dungeons.
Human.
And not just because I want to LARP as Girl Arthas or something stupid.
The Human Spirit is a great racial and I feel it doesn’t get the praise it deserves since it’s so boring.
And +Rep Gain is ALWAYS a solid choice at the start of an Expansion.
Orc. Have been forever. Percent stun resist is huge in PVP.
