What melee should I play going into The War Within?
Death Knight.
Nothing is more satisfying than watching your opponents suffer not only physically but mentally as well.

I personally love DK but thats just me. I was a feral druid for awhile and that is great fun as well

I like assassination rogues. It’s a very active rotation and I don’t fall asleep like with other classes just mashing like 3 buttons over and over.

Monk is fun
I’m going to be going in a Fury Warrior. It’s quite fun whirlwinding and blowing up large packs of mobs down at the same time.
Fury warrior. There are no other melee classes.

Fun is subjective. Play them all then see which is the most “fun” to you. Don’t play it just because someone else said it was fun.

Enhance is looking pretty fun after the tweaks!
Fury warrior for melee dps, and even though it’s not always optimal, brewmaster monk for tank.
Since Legion, I always enjoyed Sub rogue for melee, even though I’ve also always been bad at it.
I’ve really liked Fury for a while, good for when you want to smash through things without thinking too much. Enhance is really fun too when I’ve played it, need to get back around to getting my shaman set up. Have enjoyed WW monk as well, though Fury and Enh edges it out in fun for me.

PvE - Death Knight, or fury warrior if you want to play yolo mode.
I’ve always played either Warlock, Mages or Druids in all of my history of WoW (>10 yrs off and on since Cata release). Remix made me really enjoy playing as a Monk and probably wouldn’t have played it without that game mode. Highly suggest monk.
im no expert, but i would say rogue…i love the fan of knives ability, able to spam that AOE in dungeons
