Which healer does everyone find to be the most fun? I know fun is subjective. So explain why it’s fun! I love feeling I’m adding a bit of utility to the group. I’ve really been enjoying this shammy as a result.
However, been looking for an alt healer to play as well. I’d love others opinions on healers they find fun and why!
I’m not very knowledgeable of healers. But my friend is having a blast doing Mistweaver (Fistweaver) monk. It’s challenging, it’s stressful, and its possibly the weakest healing spec (maybe not mistweaver, but fistweaving specifically). But he loves it.
I feel like I can’t have fun on any healer - for me, it is very stressful, and I don’t like it.
The closest I got to having fun on a healer was Resto Druid! I tried Holy Priest, Discipline Priest, and Resto Shaman as well, but I didn’t feel comfortable on them.
I started healing after tanking and I have to say I find healing MUCH more stressful. Each run is different; you don’t know if people are going to be clue less and have no idea, or if they are going to be brilliant and you can spend a ton of time dpsing. Tanks, on the other hand, feel stressful until you know the routes. Then it’s auto pilot time.
I started healing in BFA on a monk. Loved it. Then I made the mistake of reading the forums… dumb move. For me, who merely has the desire for KSM, it probably wouldn’t matter what class I am.

Disc looks like a lot of fun… how are they for pugging m+?
pugging in the 0-12ish range is horrible. Don’t play disc if you pug with inexperienced players. (hint: tears)
There is no “fun” healer… Only masochists play healing classes.
Haha you may be right. However, there’s something satisfying about doing it well… The problem is you’re expected to do it well. If you do it well, you did your job. If someone dies it’s your fault.
My favorite healer is disc but I find running instances stressful, especially if you have a turbo tank. I have a blast on shammy. Kind of easy compared to disc. I’m going to start working on mistweaver. Holy pally is fun but I’m still figuring it out.
Been tempted to give my MW a go again. It was my first healer after an 8 year break and had a lot of fun… and then I read the forums in SL.
Resto Druid is so much fun. Most of your stuff is instant cast (or channeled), removing the major buzzkill for casters in WoW (cast bars). Also, you have so much mobility, escape tools, defensive tools, all that cool stuff.
And now you even have Convoke, it’s glorious.

I really like MW, not this time around, but usually.
I have three healers. None are fun in m+. Disc is so fun in pvp I can’t even explain it. Rsham seems to have the smoothest, most balanced healing kit for both pvp and pve. I can’t stand m+ this xpac but man pvp healing is such a blast. My other alt is a paladin… No real content yet soni can’t comment but hpals in pvp are top shelf.
