I’m loving my druid but I want an alternative character, who should I go for? Warrior or Rogue?
You not going to love druid at 60 lol they’re garbage tier pvp until AQ set
Would you recommend mage?
Classes are designed to appeal to different people.
The most fun class is the one most fun to you.
I mean. Warrior is like a sports boat.
They are expensive, take a ton of work, so much effort… but my lord they are so much fun (except pvp)
Mage is cool if you like pvp but PvE is so boring until AQ
Ignore the haters, Druid is number one.
Who needs top DPS, healing or tanking? Being bottom tier just makes it more embarrassing for other classes if you outperform them.
Plus there are quality of life talents like Moonglade port, Aquatic form, MOTW, increased ground speed that you just don’t get anywhere else.
Hard agree. Especially as an altoholic and somebody with limited time, Druid is great to get a sample of all the playstyles has to offer.
The only reason I didn’t roll a Druid this time around is because I’ve already levelled one about three times over Classic.
… and I’m still considering and re-rolling one, anyway.
IF you get really good on mage its disgustingly good but low lvl you’re going to suffer. You get 1 tapped almost to lvl 40 until you get shield. You can always Sheep and walk away tho.
Hes talking about pvp where druid is dog water until near bis gear.
See above
Warrior is fun. Zug zug
druid is always decent in pvp…
They are one of the best open world 1v1s, don’t need much gear, and are tons of fun to FC with.
Esma, dudu, pinker, locksmear proving you 100% correct. Naked druids are near impossible to catch when they’re good.
Hotw Druid build is nearly unkillable 1v1.
Indeed, but perhaps a bit overly done. Last night I was messing about in the Orc starting zone and must have seen 20 orc warriors chasing mottled boars all over the place.
I think the story of this Classic relaunch is the rise of the meta DPS warrior/fury tank. Both of which have been around, of course, but now with dual spec have become the new…the new…well whatever’s more popular and lasts slightly longer than the flavor of the month.
Locks are a ton of fun if you like dots, fearing and draining their health. Rogue is also a blast, Ambush crits, stun locks into stun locks.
If you’re already playing a druid, I’d recommend going with a Mage or Hunter for your next character
I very much enjoy both Warrior and Rogue, and have spent a decent amount of time with both since 2019.
Warrior is greatly improved if you have at least one other person you can play with consistently, whereas rogue does very well solo.
Warrior has very extreme emotional range; at times you feel you are unstoppable and everything falls before you, crumbling to dust in your wake, and at others the mob parries your attack 3 times in a row and you die, and often which side of the Warrior you get is decided by things beyond your control.
Rogues, on the other hand, are nearly never powerless. Perhaps you won’t experience the sheer dopamine of killing several things in one devastating blow, but you can surely enjoy the slower satisfaction of utilising your toolbox to its full potential, and an experienced rogue will pull of things they seemingly have no right to do.
My recommendation would be to spend a bit of time with each of them. If you don’t enjoy the class at low levels, I wouldn’t recommend putting yourself through the 1-60 journey hoping it improves.
Long term payoff fun: Warrior
Fun everywhere outside of Raid: Mage
Fun 1-60: Druid
Druid for sure, at least for me. It offers the most dynamic gameplay, as well as having unmatched mobility in the open world.
For an alternate character, since you already have a druid, I would avoid rogue, unless you just want to be a menace and gank people. I would prob go warrior, as stance dancing also offers that dynamic feeling game play.
I think rogue or warrior for PVE. Druid is a blast, ngl, for PvP.
The trolling by roots/travel form is unparalleled.
Rogue. Warriors aren’t that much fun until you get a ton of gear. They’re a slog until then.
