Most fun caster class to play?

I find the aoe rotation fun with SC putting dots up on 8 targets and then rocking mind seer.

Im still working on the single target rotation.

I agree. I was more commenting on the ā€˜funā€™ aspect. My opinion of course.

I dabbled with it back in the day, whatever era it was. Back when shadow orbs were still around. It was never my main, but I did enjoy it a lot. I think itā€™s better now. If I remember rightly mind spike used to clear your dots. But there was a talent you could take which drastically boosted your direct damage spells. So you were essentially trading dots for up front. Which I found cool. Well anyway, we donā€™t have to choose now. You still got your dots. The build I use is just overflowing with procs for various instant spells.

Ooh, although I did just remember something that did really annoy me the other day - mind sear being a spender. Itā€™s a real pain when running old content. You just donā€™t have an efficient way to knock down groups of weak enemies. Shadow crash is amazing, but only every 30 seconds. I have halo, but that seemed to be a bit buggy about actually hitting enemies. Also 40 second cooldown. In general though their aoe is awesome now. Shadow crash, vamp and pain instantly applied to all. Then spike and blast hitting everyone.

Elemantal Shaman has been a great deal of fun for me. I like hurling fire and lightning at targets. The animations and effects on my dwarves are a bonus.

I also like fire mage a lot. Tried frost but never got the hang of it. So many blue icons. lol

Spriest is probably the one iā€™d play the most for fun if i could get my head around it

I personally find frost mage really satisfying too

For me itā€™s mage, I want to like warlock but itā€™s so boring to play imo.

Balance Druid is in a really good place currently. After doing my tour of characters recently to decide my DF main, I settled on Boomkin. It was the clear front-runner for me.

Fun to play, I like the rotation and eclipse management aspects. Feels very powerful in both single target and AoE. All the utility benefits of Druid too, instant flight/travel form, stealth, can heal, etc.

Having root as a caster feels like cheating.
