Most Difficult Class / Spec

Curious, what class / spec do you find the most difficult to play and why? And do you find it more fun because of it, or is it too stressful it pushes you away from playing it?

I just hit 120 with my Holy Pally and I’ve noticed it’s much more hands-on than anything else I’ve played. I’m loving it, I find there’s just so much going on that it can be difficult at times trying to keep track of my rotation and prioritising my healing and CC. Seems like I have way more abilities than my tiny brain can keep track of, lol. Makes playing DPS feel under-stimulating now.

My Blood DK comes in at second, but not a close second. Holding and maintaining aggro is oddly satisfying, but can be difficult with heavy-hitting DPS.

When I first started tanking it actually gave me enough anxiety that I avoided doing any runs for the first week or so, but once I started it didn’t take me long to get comfortable.

I think having that added responsibility and pressure drives me to play these 2 more than anyone else, it requires my full attention and is just so satisfying when things go well.

How about you?

Anything that isn’t a 3 or 4 button spec. XD

I think that’s the response you’ll find most often.

I would say the monk specs are the most complex, which actually isn’t that complex.

Feral druid is generally considered one of the more difficult specs in the sense that you have to play exceptionally to compete with people rolling a potato across their keyboards. Most people who played it have been driven away to other classes and specs over the past few years.

I prefer classes that don’t need a lot of apm to play well (actions per minute).
Dot classes like druid/affliction warlock are some of my favorites, and i particularly love healing as a druid since it is very laid back and easygoing.

I think in my case though this is mostly attributed to arthritis and pain in my hands/fingers from repeated movement. Playing high apm classes like windwalker makes my hands hurt.

Feral druid for sure. A lot more baseline rotation abilities compared to other dps specs, and the tiniest mistake will make your dps plummet.

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with Disco on my Priest. It’s fun to play but it’s way too stressful for me to use it in anything I don’t wildly outgear.

Me too! Feels fun when doing dungeons but once it comes to PvP or heavy movement… it leaves me wondering what I was thinking

I would have to say Druids / Kitten

Closely followed by Shaman / Enhanced

Feral, I hate my life.
I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t fun tho.

For me it is the Mage. I play melee tank types most of the time, so it makes it really difficult for me to get out of that mindset when I am on my mage. To a slightly lesser degree on my priest and warlock.

The bleeds and then knowing do I have to be hind my target to shred or oh my bleed fell off, um I need more energy… Never mind I will just swipe again and they wont kick me for being afk as at least I look like I am doing damage.

I dunno but I swear I’m seeing more monks around lately. Is it our time to shine?

I have a very handy weak aura that tracks my bleed power, so I know when the best time to reapply them is.

If anyone is interested, the weak aura is between my HP and my target HP.

I love feral. It so much fun. Only one you can zip around and shred a enemy.

Only brew master monk. Is the one i trying to understand. Almost got it.

I actually like Feral as well, especially in PvP. When I’m going for really effective melee though, I go for DH.

Funny never done bg on DH. World pvp tons of fun. Lots of movement.
