Most complex spec?

What is the most complex class/spec?

I have trouble with warlocks

I’m an altoholic…I literally play 36 toons…every spec in the game in steady rotation. Blizzard has simplified each spec so much that there is no such thing as a complex spec anymore. Furthermore, if you use the addons Ovale Spell Priority and Spellflashcore its impossible to forget a rotation. Tanking and healing is the only way to feel any sense of a challenge anymore.

My 4 buttons sure are hard to press.

Demonology’s probably up there. My nomination would have gone to pre-WoD subtlety, though.

I’m assuming sarcasm until proven otherwise.

I think it’s vastly dependent on the player and what he/she is comfortable with.

I have most of my experience with healers, having raided with pretty much every one of them to at least AOTC / Early Mythic Raid boss level. In my personal experience the hardest was Disc, not because the mechanics themselves are difficult but because it’s heavily proactive so unlike other healers you can’t just wing it and react to damage.

As for DPS specs, from the ones I play, which are mainly those that also have a healing spec (WW Monk, Ele Shaman, Balance Druid, Shadow Priest, Ret Pally) I find Shadow Priest a bit more tricky than the rest, or more punishing when not played perfectly at least.

I’ve heard Feral Druid is difficult but I haven’t done any challenging content on it to be able to tell for sure, pretty much only did the mage tower for the artifact appearance.

I thought assassination rogue was hard, then I played brewmaster, holy hell. Nope, SOOO much nope, I’ll stick with windwalker thank you very much. Hands down for me brewmaster is the most complex spec.

I’m pretty sure that Feral’s rotation is so rigid that anything except a flawless performance will result in massive damage loss

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard too, but again, I can’t confirm it since I don’t have the experience myself.

Demonology certainly requires some finesse but I wouldn’t say difficult you can probably do around 80% of your maximum dmg by using passive talents like Sacrificed Souils and Inner Demons.

There all equally easy, by design. made so by years of pruning of skills, stats and player choice.

You will have a harder time picking a toon name.

Pick a race, click spec and lock your 3-4 skills on your action bar and you will be on performing at the max complexity level available. Give it a year and you will get to try it out on your mobile device… that might be a little more complex /shrug

It’s feral, which is difficult in the same way spinning plates is difficult.

Not just saying this because I’m Enhancement, but I’ve always felt Enhancement was one of the more difficult specs. They have a awesome toolbelt full of abilities, but they also aren’t good unless you know how to use a Enh Shammy. With the exception of this xpac, a good Enh is VERY deadly. Again though, hard to find a good one because it’s a hard class to perfect. Just ask Smexxin and Swapxy.

Well I have to use demon bite to generate the purple stuff. I need to use chaos strike to use the purple stuff. I need to use blade dance because anime. And I need to use eye beam to look cool.

That’s a lot to remember! 4 whole buttons!

I mean I could choose that one talent to make demons bite passive and change the talent that makes blade dance required for the rotation to make it two buttons…but I don’t want things to easy…

Monk classes are very complex. Brewmaster imo is top panda.

Currently? Nothing prolly.

Legion? Ele sham imo.

I’d say demo lock or survival hunter.
Haven’t tried every spec so there could be others.

Clearly resto druid, you have to know what all these herbs do!
