Hey guys, first time making a topic here. I started playing wow on legion with my demo warlock, but never trully liked the spec. I came back now with shadowlands and i main a shadow priest (wich is pretty fun) and have several mid lvl alts. Recently i lvl a UH DK to lvl 50 and it feels pretty good. With this change of playstyle i realized that i prefer more of a melee/tankier dps type of playing the game, plus im trying to get into pvp and want a class that i can do torghast solo without many issues. Should i keep lvling my dk? Whats the best class in terms of solo content/sel sustain/ damage?
PD: i also have a paladin lvl 60 but is prot and i intent of keeping it that way

I like feral.
WW Monk, period. They are OP right now.

Solo = feral
Raids = balance
M+ = resto
So if you’re looking for a tanky melee DPS that is always both of those things, druid probably isn’t the best choice.
You can be tanky in bear form, or you can be melee DPS in cat form, but you can’t be both at the same time.
For tanky melee DPS with self-healing and range abilities, you’re basically looking at DK or ret paladin. And you said that your paladin is staying prot. So DK probably is the best class for you, if that’s your goal.
edit: Someone mentioned WW monk, that’s a strong option too.

Between Frost, UH and Blood, wich spec has the best self sustain and burst damage? I know UH is awesome in uncapped AoE but i’ve red Frost is pretty good in burst damage on PvP too?

prot paladin and bear druid both are very good solo specs

There are much better burst classes with more mobility/utility than DK (FMage, RPala, Enh/Ele Sham, Bala Druid, Sub Rogue, Arms Warrior). Warlock is good in PvP if you want to experience what a cloth aoe tank feels like with perma 40 yd range aoe taunt and feral is played just to bait people into asking you why you’re not playing balance.

Warlock’s up there, it definitely got most of the important parts back than most other classes. You’re desired for your utility, affliction is godlike right now, and all three specs play different enough to remain interesting.
Still kinda mad about what they did to shadowburn, though.
For burst damage it’s definitely not blood. Probably UH is the top overall for that right now, but I’m not actually sure.
Strange. Unholy DK’s often perform better in my groups than monks are.
Warrior no joke. In fact Fury is the most OP spec right now. So OP that people are scare to invite you to raids and m+ coz you will top meters by at least 20%.
