alright gang, here’s the questions… what’s the most anime race in the game? the most anime class? and of course, race/class combo?
i’d post my guesses, but… hard to pin-point’em down (though belf is definitely in there somewhere…)
Blood elves?
I mean, they literally have Goku as a hair option.
And its whatever class they choose to swoosh that ridiculous blonde hair out of their face with.

Thankfully not too many. The main reason I couldn’t get past character creation screen in FFXV is because it looks way too anime for me. I can’t take such a game seriously. I prefer western inspired design, like skyrim, wow (minus pandas), dragon age, etc… Each with their own preference obviously.

Maybe if you did a battleshout while you change to a demon, you could be the anime-ist of them all.
Edit: writing this post just made me want to play retail again for the first time in a long time. My main is a belf vengeance demon hunter ball of fire and death soloing current content dungeons at level… No danger whatsoever, but the anime cartoon-value is there. 
Actually, the overpowered nature of retail toons is probably the anime-ist thing of all.

Ditto about FFIV. And even the belfs look like adults at least. And many of the other races are fairly ageless until you stick a white beard on them. FFIV having most or all the toons look like high school and college freshman just reminded me of a chapter of my life I was content not to re-experience. (Not overly bad, just way too much insecurity and angst compared to now.)

This is me being the solitary guy with voices in his head and you all are just more voices to me because I’m crazy.
Japanese games are weird, they don’t focus on facial expressions or really many of the things that are in western gaming, but the only thing I would say is bad is that JP media sexualizes the idea of little girls, it’s really nasty.

Demon Hunters don’t have the Naruto run. The Ninja class in FFXIV does, though.

They might actually be more anime…just missing the goofy oversized named weapons.
