Sub-Zero name is Bi-Han. Anyone who played MK knows who he is…what he will become…
No idea. But I played up until part 4 only. Started out in the arcades with part one, and on the old genesis.
Story goes. Bi-Han was Sub Zero that was in 1st Mortal Kombat game. But he was killed by Hanzo Hasashi aka Scorpion. Scorpion believe that Sub Zero killed his clan, his family and even himself. The sorcerer demon Quan Chi who was the one who made Scorpion had resurrected Bi Han into a Wraith warrior that we know as Noob Saibot.
Odd, because at one point both were under control of Shang tsung. He described them as “mortal enemies, now under my control”.
Hadn’t heard the noob saibot theory, and it doesn’t make sense to me as noob saibot had the ingame abilities of both.
Here the detail from what I get from wiki about Scorpion " It is known that his father, a former member of the Shirai Ryu, forbade his son from joining the clan, as he did not wish for his son to live the life of an assassin. However, Hanzo joined in spite of his father’s wishes in order to provide his
wife and son with a comfortable life.
After he and his clan are exterminated, Scorpion reappears as a hell-spawned spectre, inexorably seeking vengeance against those responsible for the destruction of his family and clan. As a result of Quan Chi’s manipulation, he initially believes Bi-Han , a ninja from the rival Lin Kuei clan and the original Sub-Zero, to be responsible for the massacre. He confronts and kills Bi-Han at the first tournament, inadvertently spawning the undead wraith Noob Saibot. He wouldn’t learn until much later that it was Quan Chi, not Bi-Han, who committed the genocide, to which he responded by torturing Quan Chi in the Netherrealm in the original timeline. In the second timeline, he would get his revenge after being restored to his human form, eventually tracking Quan Chi down and executing him.
There new time line in MK 9 that everyone is following that story. So Hanzo and Kuai Liang (younger Sub Zero) made peace.
It’s about as consistent as a wow storyline I guess. In one of the movies, scorpion kills subzero in the pit, then basically straight after learns Quan chi was shape shifted during the assault on his clan in which his son and wife were killed.
It was one of those “now the real villain reveals himself and explains in depth his entire plan before running off” moments.
Its was more of a reboot but yea. if u want to learn more, look MK9, MK10 and MK11 to help you understand there that story is going.
