More tusk options for trolls, please. They’re such a character defining feature they seem very limited. Would be really nice to get some smaller options as well as an option to have none at all.
Color options would be really cool too if it was natural colors of course… ie: Ivory, yellow, brown, tan, black, gray.
Some texture on some of them would be really cool, maybe some look more dried & cracked than others.
And maybe implementing face paint on them in some way could be really cool too.

This is confusing to me. If tusks are such a defining feature of trolls, why do you want the option to make them disappear entirely, thus losing the defining feature of trolls? Sure, more tusk options, but I highly disagree with the option to have none as that would literally be a birth defect of massive proportions.
I can’t see a none option being added but everything else in your post I can. Especially since we have sandtroll skin now having black and dry tusks would be awesome. I would love some painted patterns on tusks that could look really really cool. Or to just have some voodoo jewelry on them. Also we need beards for trolls

Yeah, I doubt.
I don’t see it as breaking anything iconic. People shave beards and get other body modifications, so it’s entirely possible some trolls would choose remove their tusks or grind them down. Maybe the teens go through an “emo” phase or something.
You’re mistaking “character defining” for iconic. Character defining as in the tusks change the over all look/feel of the character. So the difference in character between a troll with tusks & without would be significant. Just the same as it would be significant between a troll with long thick tusks & one with short pointy ones.
Although I firmly believe that tusks are iconic to Trolls I have to support a non-tusk variant as it is supported by the lore of World of Warcraft. Case and point, Amani Troll vs. High Elf in Warcraft II.
Well if you want a lore reason for why they may not have tusks, I suppose we could pretend due to some hormonal imbalance or deficiency, some trolls dont get tusks, or they’re so pathetic or uneven they just choose to keep them ground down. Same as humans with facial hair.
Well I mean I don’t think it’s neccesarily wrong in the lore, it’d just be strange as it’s sort of explain that a reason they have an accent (Along with orcs) is because they have tusks in their mouths. Plus I think it’s a really character-defining trait for trolls.
But lore wise I don’t see a big issue with it.
Maybe not missing entirely…but at the very least it would be nice to have the ‘nibbler’ (or smallest) tusk size option for male trolls. And definitely different tusk color options/tattoos/piercings etc.

Well, in reality, people get their accent by while learning to speak by the people around them. Nobody has tusks in Jamaica lol.
So if you’re a young tuskless troll learning to speak from trolls with tusks, you’re never going to hear the proper pronunciation of words so naturally you’d pronounce them the same way.
If you want to play a human, just play a human.
In what world do tusks alone, differentiate trolls from humans? I guess the insanely long arms, 3 fingers/2 toes, huge feet, hunched back, exotic skin tones, & long pointy ears/nose are all features common to humans, huh?
