too be fair, it’s disgusting in pve currently. on beta and prepatch.
Enhance being taken out on a stretcher. Say a prayer for them folks.
Apologies I might butcher this because your responses seem to contradict to me.
So here you say these current nerfs are based on beta.
If they were overperforming of beta would the logic not be that they receive the nerf in both places? To show that the nerf stands even as you level and hit 70? As I see it this is specifically for lvl 60 prepatch numbers and as you level you transition to the current tuning that’s on beta. I don’t think these nerfs follow you straight to 70.
I mean enhance was laughably broken. Put them and ww in the dirt 25 percent isn’t enough.
Give shamans a real damage reduction in stun for compensation just like wotlk.
Shamans should be tanky hybrids
Nerf aff lock healing and shields by at least 50 percent nerf dh by 20 percent and the game looks infinitely better.
I may have explained it poorly. What I was saying was they were over performing in beta (dragon flight). These nerfs were meant to nerf them for dragon flight, which is where we will be in 4 weeks.
Blizzard doesn’t overly care about the state of classes in the pre patches, because they are very temporary phases of the game, and quickly just become the expansion they are designed for.
Blizzard absolutely cares about prepatch. It effects their bottom line consumers.
People will not pre order or play if it’s too terrible.
The ui is pretty sus already
The UI is straight up opinion and more people seemingly like it than don’t.
No they don’t, and it literally won’t affect the numbers at all. It’s been this way every single expansion. Rets one shotting people. BM hunters 1v3ing people. It always happens.
They absolutely do not balance for prepatch, and history shows it.
Blizz came in and mortal striked enh to the ground
(Prepatch specifically) ENH wasn’t laughably broken. It has 2 outlier spells that when every modifier they have applies to them and they crit needed to be brought down. The rest of the dmg enh does on prepatch is subpar outside windfury that’s RNG outside doomwinds that’s a very small
Window on a 1.5min cd. A nerf across the board like this hit things that were arguably things to buff after bringing other things down. Also No enh shouldn’t be the tanky hybrid. If you want more turbo attrition games go play a WoD private server they were negligible dmg, super high healing, tank bots than and everyone hated them. The expansion right before glass cannons with a button that hit so hard it would have most people who play today heads explode with rage and it wasn’t even S tier.
I fully expected a blizzard hammer, haven’t seen this impacting lvl 70 play, I’m hoping they actually do proper tuning at that level instead of a sweeping nerf bat. 25% on any and everything is not real tuning.
Maybe because all they’re doing is pressing Ele blast and doomwinds
how do you come to this when they’re specifically prepatch adjustments, nowhere is beta mentioned
Heh, I called it on the beta forums. Instead of addressing the big issue first which was ten stack maelstrom being used on elemental blast and lightning bolt they just blanket nerf everything.
What’s ironic is that 25% is barely enough to stop a heavily modified Ele Blast from one shotting, but it ruins the rest of the spec.
I like to think of it as a deployment to live. The prepatch “becomes” the beta once dragon flight goes live. They’re just patching it now rather than after dragonflight drops.
This is exactly what I’m saying. They didn’t solve the problem and just made everything that was already meh even worse. These were pve specific but I’m just not see enh topping logs when I go check warcraftlogs so I’m not even sure what these are based on actually.
without exception, the same specs are in the same state on prepatch as they are on beta.
besides, such a pointless and bad argument to say DUN WORRY blizz will fix its just prepatch. Bro no they won’t lol, they never do
they were overperforming in m+ a LOT
expect more pvp nerfs to enhance 100%
Quote me where I said “don’t worry, blizz will fix it.”
People on the forums use very odd tactics when it’s extremely easy to cite statements.
its called paraphrasing
It wasn’t paraphrasing in the least bit.
I didn’t even remotely infer that blizzard will fix it, because I don’t see it as a problem and only fully intended.
u think the current tuning is intended then ur beyond helping
