Here’s an idea Blizzard that will add a lot of grind and longevity to the game.
Kill the end boss of BRD/LBRS/UBRS/UD STRAT/SCHOLO 15 times each to acquire one additional talent point. Quest can be repeated up to 5 times.
Would you support this and what would you use those points on?
I would spend those points on troll resistance. Increases the likelihood of a troll’s internet disconnecting when hitting enter on a troll post by 5/10/15 percent.

I think it would be neat and adding more creative builds, breaking the 15 years old META cookie cutters we have now.

Now if they were going to do a classic+ (which i do not support) they should take a look at everquest’s alternate advancement system. Every time you get enough xp to go from 59 to 60 you get a point. Spend variable amounts of points to buy stat buffs, passive bonuses, and with enough talent points.
But for regular ol classic. No.
I actually think it’s an intriguing idea. I don’t think I would go his method, but the idea of being able to earn extra talent points would probably go a LONG way to massive redefining the meta, which is definitely something a lot of people would not support, but I personally wouldn’t mind.
This doesn’t strike me as a troll thread as much it does a thread you personally disagree with, which are two very different things.
Letting people have their 31 point talent from one tree, and the 21 point talent from another tree, is a huge buff. You are completely redoing the games class balance at that point.

For some classes, this would mean narrowing the differences between “specs” by simply… giving more builds access to the same strong tools. Another 5pts means Priests with both Spiritual Guidance and Force of Will, Druids with even less daylight between idealized Feral Cat and Feral Bear specs, and so forth.
The point of talent trees is to restrict access to powerful bonuses deeper in the trees, adding points negates that.
What in the name of custom bs servers are you trying to propose?
This very well could be the most asinine request i have read in my life. That is nearly 40 years of asinine requests and you topped all of them.
Horrible suggestion. Wait for burning crusade if you want more talent points.
