I don’t know about anyone else however I’d like Blizzard to think of allowing shamans to have different spirit forms. We currently have a raptor form and the classic wolf form. However, many different teachings of real shamanism teachings talk about how a shaman depending on what element they are mastering can have different animal forms. Now granted I’m sure that Blizzard doesn’t want to get the shaman class mistaken for a druid. I for one would love to have a stag form, or a flight form, etc.
Along with that, I think Blizzard should also allow us shamans to also allow our spirit pets to be also more than just raptors or wolves. We should have a spirit form for every animal. I for one would love to get two kodos as my spirit animals.
Blizzard could easily do this in many different ways probably the easiest would be to make glyphs (which would help inscriptionists) or done by a quest line where we choose our spirit animal within the game and we get to choose 2 spirit animals. Once we complete the questline we get to choose which spirit animal we can use as our spirit form and spirit animals. Something like this.
I just would like to see this aspect of shamanism be more developed.

I like the idea of it being tied to choice and perhaps a swap of sorts available at a class trainer would be cool.
I’m a fan of multiple forms just not having them slave away a different animal for every single race. In fact the only thing I really had against ghost raptor was that it actually made your characters hit-box slightly larger than regular GW.
At this point I’d probably never swap away from spectral GW but it’s cool to see options.
It would give the class trainer validity again.

Also update the raptor form model but 100% agree with you.

It’d be cool to have more glyphs or maybe an elemental spirit as our travel form. Similar to our legion mount but smaller. I mean mages get a new polymorph all the time. At least something we can farm or w/e

In Samwise Didier’s original WC3 Shaman concept art the Orcish Shaman have feral spirits by his side as well as a spirit Eagle soaring above him.
This was only barely touched upon in a Vanilla Tauren quest and then later used once again by Hunters and Highmountain Druids.
I wish that the Shaman class had some more connection with other aspects like the Eagle be much more intrinsic and central to their class identity like it was initially planned.
I just hope down line they add fox form for vulpera.

I want a spirit T-rex form. Make it happen blizz.
I would love to be able to look like the GW when you have a stormbringer proc.
Just hope this doesn’t get buried, it’s an amazing idea and needed.
I’d love my Dwarf Shaman spirit form be a Ram

I was literally just talking about this with some friends last night. With the spirit raptor glyph we can already see that the tech is there to do it. Sadly shamans interaction with spirits and the spirit realm is lacking when it comes to abilites we have to represent our ties to it.
Fox form, a cat form, cow form? Better raptor.
every time I see wolf form… I think of Orcs. Orcs totems have a pair of wolfs
