" If you do all 3 daily quests per day, complete both [Patterns Within Patterns] quests each week, complete the Campaign, and kill the [World Boss] each week, it will take you 32 days to become Revered and 73 days to become Exalted. However, killing some of the rares in [Zereth Mortis] every day will drastically lower this time period. For example, if you kill 10 rares per day and 1 rare from the Endless Sands area per day in addition the above, you can expect to be Revered after 27 days, and Exalted after 60 days.
If you kill more Rare mobs per day, kill bosses in Sepulcher of the First Ones, [Contract: The Enlightened] you can expect to hit Revered and Exalted sooner yet.
Another day of grinding rep to revered to get the account wide legendary, thanks blizzard this is so much fun and exactly what us players love doing! Oh did i say another day? i meant another month of boring chores. What’s next? another faction to grind for after enlightenment? Man that would be so exciting us altoholics must be having a field day with this one. Keep up the good work blizzard and your game will continue to be the best MMO out there!
This is all sarcasm for any of those that think I’m serious…I’m mainly a pvper and some what do pve when I’m bored but I would love to play the game without being forced to do the story campaign or any type of dailies/rare killing just to compete with others that have double legendaries. its boring content to do and don’t get me wrong if it only took like 1 or 2 week of rep grinding i wouldn’t have a problem or instead of revered it could be honored for the account wide legendary. I don’t get why it should take a whole month to get revered or 2 months to get exalted?? and i get it i could just do the campaign on all my toons and get the end quest reward (legendary belt) but that’s just as boring as logging in everyday to do my chores.
All I’m asking is for blizz to chill on the rep grind and make the 2nd legendry requirement honored and not revered. i log in every morning and log right back off cause the first thing that pops up is grinding more rep just to get my 2nd legendary. I could play without it but i wouldn’t be pushing the same numbers as everyone else. I would Like to know if anyone else has this issue or is it just me being lazy? lol…anyways good day and hope everyone is having fun!

Hate to tell you there has always rep grinding in the game. ALWAYS. Whining about having to play the game today is hilarious.

I’m 4927/12000, not sure when i’ll get revered but I just started doing the daily WQ’s.
You are aware that they are making updates to future rep/expacs where exalted goes from 21K to 150K and so on down the rep tiers right?
PVP has taken a backseat for a long time. Wonder if the tier acquisition also affects PVPers 'cause that would ssuck for those not wanting to PVE and still waiting on that catalyst thing to open

The revered grind was easy while doing the campaign tbh
If the daily quests gave rep, like they should, it wouldnt be so bad. Korthia took me about a month to get exalted. ZM has been out a month and Im only half way into revered.

2pc and 4pc is a ridiculous power jump to face at this point in gearing if you don’t have it as well
It’s not even a thing of not wanting to pve. A lot or pvpers are running their lfr wings every week and getting m+ vaults, but if you’re unlucky there’s nothing you can do about it. The point of pvp gearing and vendors is deterministic loot- grind conquest, spend conquest. The idea of grinding 6 vaults and not getting tier when someone grinds 1 vault and gets tier is so backwards i don’t understand it
I’m 0/4 and i havent missed a vault since the start. Watched a 4pc ret singlehandedly wipe a team fight against a team of alts

You could do what I do and ignore content that isn’t fun.
I popped into that zone when it launched, looked around, did a few quests and went back to doing something else.

Ya it’s a shame with how this team went about it since they had the answer there but felt like it’d be better to time gate it. Also don’t think luck feels good so going so long without that one, two, four items or w.e feels bad.
Feel for you lot. I personally wanted to get into the game and find my gameloop so things I do feel better but seeing this expansion add even more stuff, now the tier stuff… I don’t feel like playing this teams design choices they keep making, feels like a head ache.
i get that but arent u worried about not pushing the same numbers at others in M+/raid or pvp? idk if the covenant leggo is a huge % gain but it does feel like it when u dont have it abd others do. idk it feels punishing not having it
The rep grind for Zereth wasn’t really that bad. I have taken a step back after getting revered a couple of weeks ago, but the rep keeps coming even when I do slow down.

at what rep did u get to at the end of campaign? most of my alts did the skip and i dont really play my main that i did do the story line a t first. does doing the full questchain with out skip get u honored?
the skip cost you 2200 I believe
you can… not do those things and get exalted at your own pace.

It really isn’t. Just looking at my calendar getting revered took about 3 weeks.
Although, arguably a lot of that contributed to the time we had multiple patterns quests in the first week.
