I think its about time for another Horde race to be made available to roll as a Druid that is not a Troll or a Tauren. Thoughts/opinions welcome. What race would you like to see be playable as Druid.

You are about to get Zandalari Trolls as druids. I know they are another Troll race, but I am sure if you ask Ion he will try to convince you that they are really High Elves and you should be happy to play them.
Note: I don't have a care about High Elves, but I do love me some drama.

I hate honestly hate trolls, and was pretty excited when I heard we were getting nightborne originally, since they had created all the druid forms for them through the suramar story line... but was extremely disappointed to find out it wasn't going to be an option :(

I would welcome another option aside from Troll/Tauren as well.
Alliance got Kul'tiran Druids, adding another race besides Elves or Worgen whereas the Horde got the same thing over again.
Personally I'd love to see the Allied Races get at least one more class each, perhaps in a future content patch adding/fixing cosmetic options and issues.
As for Horde races, I would personally like Blood Elves and/or Nightborne myself, especially with the development in Suramar. Another great option would be Vulpera, though there are musings of a San'layn style Druid as well if they indeed become playable to have a similar treatment to Wicker Druids.

We have enough druid races already.
Yeah, Zandalaris are trolls too, but they are VERY different from Darkspear.
I don't think we are getting another one soon.

I'd love to see Blood Elves, Vulpera (if it becomes a race) or Mag'har Orc. I just really love the designs for the Mag'har themselves so it'd be fun to run around in druid armor as one.
Blood Elves could make some interesting designs for forms. I don't really like elves but, it would certainly be different & appeal to the elf fans.

Mag'har or Mok'Nathal would be nice... I shudder to think about vulpera being added at all. They seem like a better fit for the Alliance.
Why? Because they are tiny little fox people? They're on Zandalar and encounter the Horde first. It wouldn't really make any sense for them to go Alliance, seeing as the Alliance doesn't help them in the ways that we help them. Get over it. Great, I look forward to the playable washing machine with arms and legs to cater to my particular set of tastes. I feel this allied race synergies well with typhoon and mark and having extra options is only a boon. Besides, it was datamined and wowhead has it in 3d viewable mode, get hype! Glad you understand.

Your name sounds like someone trying really hard to be 170% elf.

1. Because they are night eleven esentially
2. They have a connection to druids due to the tree the druids helped them grow over the Leyline.
3. They eat the fruit, that should make them more nature attuned.
4. The forms are almost there. They had forms when I quested through suramar.
5. The cat form looks amazing.
6. New races came out and I’m bummed as a Druid main because my only new race option is a slightly more moose like Tauren.

I was genuinely surprised when I found out Nightborne didn't get druid. The forms were all there, the model is just the night elf model, etc. I thought it was a slam dunk.

Pandaren makes sense for several reasons. It's less dev time since both factions get them, so only one set of forms needed.
They're children of Wild Gods (came from Furbolg who were created by the Bear Druid totem gods, Ursoc and Ursol). Even post-Sundering? The race follows 4 other Wild Gods deeply tied to nature.
Zandalari have even set the precedent for nonstandard forms. Ox tank, Tiger DPS, Serpent Hybrid spell DPS, and a Crane flight?

I'd love to see Hozen added as a horde race, and I think they'd make hilarious druids. Monkey tails and long gangly arms as shapeshift form features. Don't eat dook, don't break root.

Yeah, Nightborne should have druids. The art is already there and it would give us a race that wears SHOES!!! All xmogs look stupid since we're missing shoes.
