More PvE Beta Invites

The PvE Beta server is extremely underpopulated. On a busy night, each faction has ~300 players.

This has made it hard to test instances as getting 5 people together is difficult when there are only 3 in ironforge, 8 in stormwind, 17 in darkshire, etc…

I am sure lots of people would love to join the PvE beta testing. More invites onto that dead server could only help – especially when the cap is raised to 60.

Could you please send out some invites?

Willing to go to PVE server. :raising_hand_man:

I think part of the problem is that all the streamers went PvP, and all of the people viewing the streams went PvP to join them.

This has lead to a massive population in-balance on the beta servers.

That’s exactly what happened.

exactly this. i don’t think blizzard cares that there’s only a limited amount people on the pve server. they essentially get the same data. having said that, send out those pve-only invites, blizz!

They need to just send out invites that only allow the PVE server access.

Seems a bit weird that this issue was not foreseen. Of course the streamers were going to roll pvp and so were most of their followers. Keeping Beta access limited is also a very smart marketing move.

I didn’t get invited and I played since 2004 in a world first guild (16-17) world firsts. I used to play way too much back then 10-15 hours a day. World first raiding back then was basically a beta test of the bosses. Good suggestion on adding more people but if they want to keep up the hype for the coming months the smartest thing is to keep the beta exclusive.

It would sure be awesome to join you guys. Willing to do PVE Server 100%. There’s so many other things I wanted to test from my stress test access.

Don’t you already have a beta invite? I swear I saw a screenshot of yours in that Arathi battle.

If Blizzard gives me beta access and tells me it’s specifically to play on the PVE server, I will definitely do so as a thanks!

Yea, I’ve done a /who 30 for the past few nights on PvE - less than 50 Alliance side. :frowning:

beta please

Last night I was trying to get a group to go run Gnomer, and ran /who’s of all the major areas and could not get a group of 5 people to play. I must have messaged 20 people, and simply put most people just are busy.

More players would mean that you could stand in IF/SW and actually get a group to run/test these instances.

I’m doing PvE because I am just busy. I have a full time job, and kids now.
I get a few hours a night to play, tops, and spending that time getting corpse camped has no appeal to me at all.

That’s what you can expect on the PVE servers in general (when the game goes live) because when you select “PVE Server” you are skipping 50% of the games world content and reducing the difficulty level of the world content by +50%.

People know this and preference to play on PVP servers because it’s how the game was intended to be played, as it’s a component of the difficulty level.

Yea, I’m going a little slow, testing out EVERYTHING I can as I level, and only at 22 so far. And like you, full time job, kids, etc…

But I will literally wall jump or try and dupe mats by exiting the second a long item creation / acceptance of a reward… hit people with a fishing pole and see if I can level my fishing skill that way, try to fish in lava, log out next to a door and see if I can respawn inside of it, and other crazy things.

I couldn’t do all those tests as easily on a PvP server, so PvE it is.

Aye. I can relate to this. Also why I’m testing on the PvE server.
