Did you hit your quota for the clown face emote yet?
Okay, now you can’t say I didn’t extend the offer… Which I did in the older deleted thread by the way…
Thanks, I’ll continue to do my thing and you continue to do whatever it is you’re doing.

Uh, okay?
Cheating: Create, use, offer, promote, advertise, make available and/or distribute the following or assist therein:
- cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard (whether accomplished using hardware, software, a combination thereof, or otherwise), influencing and/or facilitating gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;
Fixed it for you I guess? Blizzard expressly states there’s a 5 man group cap. You use software ( ie: discord ) to coordinate the circumvention ( ie: exploit ) of the 5 man group cap.
- Harassment, “griefing,” abusive behavior or chat, conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others, deliberate inactivity or disconnecting, and/or any other activity which violates Blizzard’s Codes of Conduct or In-Game Policies.
Theres a little more for you champ.
inb4 it’s an MMO/get more friends/here’s a blue post from 15 years ago.
This is what the EULA says about cheating:
cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard (whether accomplished using hardware, software, a combination thereof, or otherwise), influencing and/or facilitating gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods
The key parts are “influencing and/or facilitating gameply”, and “an advantage over other players not using such methods”.
Pepperidge Farm does. Me and Icculus spent many Friday nights in Org with IWC back in the day. Rum wars was a fabulous thing.
Same. I’m working 349 hours a week to support 9 kids and I really think it’s toxic that other people have friends who share their hobbies.
Might have been a strictly epic BG queue thing ( can’t for the life of me remember when they finally separated the queues)? Dunno, I’ve always preferred the smaller BGs where the individual makes the difference and it’s not who can spam the most AoE/lag the game out by spamming toys.
Edit: Not saying any of the current groups do that, was big with groups like Ruin Gaming back in MoP.
Again, nothing in there about 5 man group caps.
Only one use of the word five (5):
“It may take up to five (5) days before purchases of Battle.net Balance are made available for your use.”
The addon is readily available and open to any/all users playing the game. it doesn’t exploit. As I’ve said many times before. It’s just a glorified countdown timer.
This can just circle back to literally any addon in the CurseForge library… Heck, let’s look at the addon Spy or weizPvP… They highlight and provide information on targets within the users area without them even knowing. A simple click of the bar and they’re targeted… Sounds like if someone didn’t have that, they’d be at a disadvantage.
“influencing and/or facilitating gameplay”
“an advantage over other players not using such methods”.
Literally any QoL addon does this…
This is just a weak attempt, sorry.
To each their own. I like large scale pvp, always have. Yeah some groups still do the toy abuse, it makes terrible lag. No me gusta that either!
I seriously hope you aren’t in any sort of judicial position outside of this game because you’re not going to get too far…

This is all I could find looking real quick about that.
I do remember when human perception got buffed and everyone faction changed to alliance. Not sure what the year was on that but I do remember it was pretty bad because the horde was “boycotting” battlegrounds in that era.
It was an addon that completely automated interrupts in PVP and it did it in a way where it was physically impossible because it was checking for interruptible spells at the level of the code, rather than what was physically present on screen. Blizzard didn’t act on it till it had ruined a number of PVP seasons.
We know, you have no spine. Can’t beat a cheater, so you just join 'em, right? lol
Okay, now see… THAT is something that is unacceptable. That’s actually comical that it even existed. Wow…
I’ll still continue to say that BGC and CF are simply glorified countdown timers. There’s no automation being done. It’s purely informational.
Coming from someone whose entire personality is built around crying from the sidelines? Keep talking like it changes anything while the rest of us actually play the game and enjoy it…
this can just circle back to literally an addon
It can, but that would be an incredibly disingenuous argument. Which is why we point out that premade synch groups rely on what they would call ambiguity in the EULA.
Oh, I know I can’t change your mind. I was never under any illusion that you guys would own anything you do or the effects it has. The lengths you’re willing to go to justify such blatant bad behavior are insane honestly, lol.
A lot of EULA and ToS agreements are like that for that specific reason. It’s open to interpretation. We all argue on these forums hoping for change…
Kickbot, I totally understand. I’d be 100% onboard with that being removed/banned… Makes sense why it was… Automation.
BGC and CF however… It’s why we’re here discussing it. When it comes down to it. Blizzard will make the call, until then. I can’t see it being an issue. Hop on board until it’s forcefully removed.
If only them tearing down Kickbot had actually gotten rid of the kick automation problem. Might actually have made it worse in the long run simply because so many imitators sprang up almost overnight.
it’s open to interpretation
And you’re interpreting it in a way that benefits you even though nothing in the EULA actually covers what you’re doing.
People like you are the reason why general rules have to be written in a more specific way. It’s that whole “exploit early, exploit often – it’s not explicitly written in the EULA, so they can’t do anything about it!”
Edit: it’s the exact same logic people are using to take follower dungeon queues in world pvp.
That’s actually a good point. If there was a proper random BG matchmaking (without the stress of rating), I’d probably play way more, and I’d probably recommend the game to more people. This game needs to chill.
