Remember “oh it’s NEW Blizzard, they communicate now!”? MW could use a slight tuning down in raids from their current state in beta. But this doesn’t address any MW shortcomings in PvP or M+ and I think we can all agree Blizzard at this point will be providing no communication regarding any of it.
It’s honestly discouraging. This isn’t a big deal, but what if they do make a major bad change? How long would we go without any communication or explanation? How long would the class be trashed before it gets fixed?
And why the hell are they changing MW by a couple percentage points while Affliction is still 20% ahead of every other class/spec in all content?
MW is performing well in PvP since the 40% stam change
I leveled this monk for DF, no boost I wanted to get familiar with the class along the way…
I am going to play Monk no matter what they do to it… If they make it terrible I will not reroll or play another “Alt” I will just unsub and go play another game as its the logical thing to do… Why hang around and try to figure out the unpredictable haymaker balancing of one company when you can just go play something else which has proven more consistent with class balance.

I hate datamined changes like the ones posted on wowhead because you get people who do not know how to interpret it freaking out for no reason.
Example - Vivify’s aura was changed from -25% to -29% which is just a 4% nerf not 29% like people on the beta thread are throwing a fit over.
Also various talents that were bugged and not working at all now work in this build and ToTM is now back to 15% for MW.
It’s not the end of the world.
my main healer’s my monk, so that’s why i’m honestly curious. i gave up on retail months ago and been playing classic until i can start my dragon he/she, didn’t get a beta invite for the first time in a decade, and haven’t much paid attention since i can’t comment to change things there.
Overall it’s a few 1-3% sp nerfs on many abilities (so small adjustments for balance purposes).
Yes it’s extremely minor while fixing some annoying previous tuning to ToTM that clearly wasn’t intentional.
Overall nothing to really complain over.

Actual throughput math is slightly more complicated due to offensive damage tweaks and subsequent interaction with Ancient Teachings. (but the 20% nerf on BoK in that formula does not bode well for M+)
The change on Awakened Faeline to guarantee double-Tiger Palm even in ST, and thus an extra BoK due to ToTM (if it does work that way), may offset that damage nerf a bit.

Just in-case some people think the Awakened Faeline change was cosmetic for a cleaner tooltip; it is actually a functional change. Awakened Faeline now allows TP to hit a single target twice.
It’s actually a 5% from what it is now but that’s just being pedantic
