More nerfs to Hpala? or buffs to everyone else except Resto shaman?

Just asking for an answer but… how is it fair that Hpalas heal the most, while also being the tankiest, and having top tier utility, and big a$$ damage?

Like, you have to trade in something for another, right? Disc priests do the same but, they consume a lot of mana, while holy palas have never got below 70% mana.

Their healing chart, looks something like:
-Light of Dawn
-Beacon
-Shock Barrier
-Holy Shock
-Word of Glory
-Judgment of Light
-Glimmer of Light

Out of those, only Holy Shock costs mana… yeah sure you get them with Crusader that also costs, but only 900 which is nothing, that’s like Riptide, and for that, you get Light of Dawn that heals for over 10k instantly.

I can’t tolerate seeing lower ilvl holy palas healing so damn much out of what, Shock Barrier and Beacon, 2 absolutely free spells.

They really need to use their healing spells like … holy light? flash of heal? so they actually use their mana. You can’t just have top tier damage, heaing, tankiness, utility, and mana usage, that’s NOT RIGHT.

And what’s their rotation? holy shock an ally, 2 crusaders, holy shock again, rinse and repeat, using LoD from free procs of Awakening.

No need to manage hots, or riptides, or worrying about range since their other talent also gives them the longest range, and glimmer doesn’t care.

What if, Holy Shock actually costs mana… like Healing Wave costs 1500 and cast time of 2.2 seconds, Holy Shock is instant and heals for almost as much since it kinda always crits.

Disc Priest, you see cheir charts it’s like:
50% Spirit Shell
50% all the other things (with most coign from attonement)

What’s the deal with these super simple and terribly rewarding classes that just do everything and have no penalty? at least Discs run out of mana and have to control atto duration, HPalas are just… garbage

Resto Shaman calling other Healers simple and terribly rewarding.

Oh dear, you think we have it easy? A resto shaman necrolord has to manage riptides to get the most out of the cleave healing, with totems and the conduits, healing rains on position, time explosions to not cap the “evenly distributed healing” from Cloudburst and we run out of mana. While our damage is shlt. If you lava burst, then you flat out don’t heal, while Hpalas are always doing damage while healing

I mean most Hpallys know they’re insane. Anyone who says otherwise is being deliberately ignorant.

No wonder why they’re getting nerfed, but even then, 2% base mana for Shock is nothing (200+ mana per shock).

And all of their heals are insta casts, like a Resto Druid, but they wear plate and use shield x_x tanky, with no mana costs, while monks spend 60% of their mana in 2 minutes to keep up

That’s part of the rotation - we have to dps. Light of Dawn and Word of Glory are holy power spenders. Crusaders Strike earns HP.

Edit - as a side note, I mained hpally through most of BFA and am sorta playing it a bit now. My current primary main is a resto shaman. I typically don’t have mana issues on my shaman or pally unless folks are taking lots of avoidable damage.

uhhh i play ohly pally and r shammy

holy pally has melee mechanics and requires coordination to suceed if you touch them they will literally never be taken m+ again lol

my shammy on other hand can carry stupid people.

Yes.

I think judging by your own “explanation” on how you think other Healers work, you’re under the assumption that only your class is difficulty and has any form of nuance, when in reality, every class does.

Holy Paladins are great don’t get me wrong. But you’re an S tier healer complaining about other S tier healers.

Indeed, just like Disc

but discs go oom while HPalas never, ever dip below 50%

Buff Holy Paladins even more! And then nerf everyone else that I don’t play!

yes. /10char

You should understand the class more before making gripes about it. While some of your points are correct, others show a large lack of understanding about how the class works.

I’m complaining about the charts, Rshamans might be “A+ tier” (not S) but we do go low on mana, our damage sucks and can’t tank shlt.

Holy palas never have to recharge mana or worry about it, do close to the most damage, can take a hit without dying and heal top as well.

The other S tier, disc, is also busted, and getting nerfed, but they at least have the decency of running out of mana you know? they don’t have it all, Hpalas do

r shaman is S tier what are you smoking lol?
i dont drink in m+ how much crit you have?

im at 20percent verse 20 percent crit 9 percent haste on my shammy and my mana doesnt dip
raids i do oom but in general i have enougn mana to last the fight and only oom at end when i start spamming heals to get people top or parse

Resto Sham are not getting buffs to compete with hpally.

i have a holy paladin, i know how it works, and also, have the charts, and see basically every healer running high keys, being a Hpala. I see their healing in Details, and most of it is entirely passive like Beacon, Shock barrier and glimmer.

What keys are you referring to?

To those, check the first 10 pages, the highest ranked runs, basically all are Hpalas, nearing the end, you get the dump of Resto shamans

but again, I ain’t saying Resto Shaman is bad, but that Holy Pala is too good. Resto shaman heals big time, but their damage is shlt. They do have to worry about mana, palas no, they have everything… except an interrupt, thank Sargeras they don’t

Shamans are the most popular healer in 15’s and higher and Mythic Nathria, by like a lot.

You are talking about the top 50 or so runs in the entire world?
