Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but this quest seems bugged. First off, there are no where near enough of the turtles spawning. When they do spawn, the hydras in the area will kill them. Some of the “fresh snapshell” corpses can be clicked on (shows a gear mouse cursor) but give no quest item. The corpses from ones I’ve killed give 2-3 per corpse. Suggestions for addressing this:
- Increase the spawn rate of live turtles dramatically.
- Make the hydras in the area not attack them.
- Make them give 3-5 flesh per harvest.
- Fix the fresh corpses to also give 3-5 flesh per harvest.

Ya this quest is really bad. Couldn’t imagine on a higher pop server. I had a hard time completing with only one other person doing it

This quest is awful.
Only 2 spawn points for the turtles and anyone who gets a tag on them can “carve” them. Which means I end up tanking and killing turtles for people who sit around and snipe me at the last second.
The turtles need to spawn in more locations, more often (they can replace the razorshell spawns) and the corpse should not disappear after the first person “carves” it. Please fix this, or give us the option to trade in Akana if this quest is up.
