More mandatory dailies in shadowlands

it has be discovered that you will need keys aka vessels to access torghast in shadowlands just like horrific visions and you have to go to the maw to farm them out. This is 8.3 dailies all over again you will be forced to do the content or else be hindered in PVE and PVP.

To those who say blizzard listens to feedback and their going in the right direction this is prof that their not. don’t say it’s not mandatory when you need torghast to craft the new legendary stuff and other rewards. this is going to force people to have more “chores” to do in WoW instead of focusing on things they want to do. Pretty sad that this is what the game has become just shove mandatory things at people or else you can’t compete with others

It takes literally 15-20 minutes to grind out old God invasion zones, if you can’t do that then of course maybe Torghast isn’t for you

Then don’t do it.

Every expansion has had “mandatory” chores.

You’re supposedly going to get keys from your covenant, any extras are bonuses.

Yeah I really don’t get this. The 8.3 daily stuff is the quickest I’ve seen in years. Half an hour or so and I can clear both zones. Not much of a drama.

LIstening to feedback, and acting on feedback are two different things. Shadowlands has certain changes that are definitely Blizzard acting on feedback they’ve heard in BFA … but doesn’t mean every little thing players spout about is going to make it to the next expansion.

Honestly farming vessels doesn’t bug me but I really wish there wasn’t a time gated punishment for failure so I could play with low skill friends.

It doesn’t mean the Torghast keys are limited by daily quests. I don’t think we know how we get them yet. They could just be outright farmable or not have a currency and drop relatively frequently. Let’s wait and see what is actually required first. Then you can riot.

People don’t like doing it. That’s the point. You could grind vision juice all day to get ahead but how much fun is it?

People DO play this game to have fun…right?

Reserving my opinion until I see what is required to get vessels (so PTR).

I play this game to impress the ladies :man_shrugging:

Why would Torghast not be “for them” if they don’t want* to do unrelated content?

*nobody said they can’t do it, so that’s a silly thing to say

Then… They shouldn’t have a complaint when they have nothing else to do

Sorry that it takes 15 minutes out of your time to post on the forums why WoW sucks because x or y

Those big boned Orc ladies?

They didn’t complain about having nothing to do, they complained about not being able to do the things that are there.

Are you really struggling that badly to understand?

Wow doesn’t suck, time gated grind fests And RNG damage procs do.

Wow is a good game but it could be great again.

You know, when you all put it like that?

Maybe WoW isn’t a game worth playing anymore.

Heck, can’t really even call it a “game” at this point. More like a lousy job that you quit the moment something, anything, better shows up.

… oh, what’s this here?

I close my eyes, tell us why must we suffer
Release your hands, for your will drags us under
My legs grow tired, tell us where must we wander
How can we carry on if redemption’s beyond us?

Well then, perhaps the “Answers” lie elsewhere.

I’ve been pretty into classic for the past few weeks. It’s waaay less stress and when you die, it’s usually because you made a boo boo. Not because OMG LOOK AT THAT 100k stArs proc!!!

Not really, most people play to push bigger numbers or parce higher.

I could say the same thing when all cloth classes start farming Ateish staff when naxx patch hits

Or Sulfuras for example

Pretty sure it was said in one of the interviews that you will get a few free keys per week by just visiting your covenant.
