Why exactly did we smoke the scarlet onslaught in Northrend? They were in Northrend to fight the scourge. Enemy of my enemy is my friend type of deal.
At this point, we had already cleared out the SM and Strat and finished off the dreadlord controlling them. IDK. It seemed counterproductive to what was a world-ending threat.
Also now they are on this weird plot to regain control of Lordaeron maybe it could of been avoided.
Because ‘enemy of my enemy’ only works if both sides agree on that. The Scarlet Onslaught is basically, “Everyone that isn’t one of us is an enemy, and must be purged.”

because the scarlet onslaught sees it as: enemy of my enemy… is still my enemy. pretty straightforward.
I dont remember any of them attacking us in dragon blight. Alliance drew the first blood without even contacting them.
They were the more zealous, less forgiving sect of the Scarlet Crusade, which was most definitely hostile to both factions.
There was another Dreadlord controlling them. You deal with him in Icecrown.
They’re still lead by a dreadlord actually. The finale culminates in, I believe, Icecrown where we kill Malganis, again.
Beaten by seconds. Rip.
