More lizards incoming!

more fake that lizard people with wings.

Could it be that Blizzard is recreating the 1988 movie THEY LIVE with consume and obey hidden mesages, I think these fake dragons want to imitate everything.

This is the Skrull invasion, gentlemen, Azeroth is in danger.

No. Read the interview. They didn’t confirm which classes will become available for dracthyr but he did say druid specifically, that druids aren’t becoming available for any more races beyond what are already playable. Using mechagnomes, goblins, and dracthyr as examples.

I wouldn’t say they break the game but yeah. I can see some limitations applying. Maybe make glide work like zandalari glide or take away the double jump aspect so you can only glide when already falling.

The knockbacks should share a cooldown and maybe have a longer cooldown.

There is no harm in them keeping soar though.

Yes we should. We’ve been asking for it forever but blizzard has shown time, and time, and time, and time again they not only dislike worgen but seem to spite them. As evident by both our heritage quest and reclaimation of gilneas quest.

We only got our own chosen identity after they broke the add on that did it when Dracthyr got it. So I imagine we might get to stay as human in a few patches after Dracthyr get the ability.

Before anyone bring sup “meh lore”. Worgen don’t automatically transform whenever they’re in “combat”. We’ve seen multiple worgen being able to fight without transforming including Genn. Worgen transform when they become angry or when they choose too. Not all combatants because angry when fighting. Someone like a mage or rogue becoming angry in the middle of a fight is a liability to themselves and their goals/party from a lore/rp perspective. So technically if you wanna be hardcore lore nerd about it only worgen warriors should be forced to transform or if some kind of enrage effect is on you.

From a gameplay standpoint player agency. If it doesn’t hurt you there is no reason not to allow worgen to be in human form. “Why not play human if you wanna look like a human” is completely irrelevant. Their motivation doesn’t matter. It’s an easy thing to give to players and harms no one. It doesn’t need to be justified.

That Dractyrs cannot be druids is ridiculous, they are practically druids but in reverse:

Druids are humanoids that turns into furries.

Dracthyrs are furries that turns into humanoids.

That’s an insane statement because the green dragonflight and druids and linked which means Dracthyr should be natural druids. God I hate how lazy blizzard is. They make all these new assets for new monsters but giving some new assets for player characters? Gotta fight tooth and freaking claw for it.

They said “no immediate plans for expansion” which in Blizzard speak is between now and never. I’ve been waiting for Alliance elf paladins since Legion and now it seems they’ve given up on making new assets.

I had the same thoughts earlier in the thread. I don’t fully trust Ion, but since he’s representing Blizzard, I’m so annoyed they didn’t make druid/shaman/paladin skins for other races considering they did said all races will have access to every class.

Old news.

They never worked like worgen in the first place. Combat doesnt cause Dracthyr to transform. Preservation evokers can do 80 percent of their kit without transforming. The only thing that transformations them is the breath abilities and the rushes.

Disagree literally the entire reason I play a female character is because all the male models are way too buff.

Idk why your forced to be an absolute meat cloud if you play a male character especially if your a caster

They aren’t buff enough gigachad models. I do wish we had sickly thin models for most of the races though, real gul’dan pre-fel style, and those thin kultirans they teased.

I love the idea of them learning to be warlocks. It’s one thing they wouldn’t have had any experience with. Priests and paladins are a good option too, and shaman.
Mages are good, I think. You have one in the mage tower questioning why people would need to learn magic, because it’s intrinsic to Dracthyr to access arcane magic. But at the same time, it’s probably not intrinsic to cast specific spellwork that a mage does(though they might need less training and practice).

DK’s are a little iffy. They would need a new version of the allied race DK start. Maybe have Bolvar raise them in Legion Acherus to help deal with Xal’s machinations.

more options are always good but ya… idc for the liazards much
it was ez to do i guess but pls man just make everyone a shaman/pally/druid
plsss

Dracthyr are 8 feet tall. I wish Blizzard had the guts to make races like Dracthyr, Worgen and Tauren the sizes they should be. Dracthyr look so much better when they are around 11-12 feet tall. Worgen according to lore should be 8 feet tall and Tauren should be 10 feet tall.

I feel like the visage thing is just them admitting that they’ve made some unpopular design choices with the actual dracthyr model.

I hope they straight up remove the visage racial from non Evoker Dracthyr as the only way it would make sense for a Dracthyr to become one of the other classes is if they were literally incapable of using any Dragonflight magic and somehow didn’t end up being sent to Aberrus or just dying during training on the Forbidden Reach. Like presumably any Dracthyr that can access Dragonflight Magic with enough training could eventually reach the status of Evoker so why train to be a basic weak warrior over being an Evoker who can control time and what not.
