“Normal people” care about timing their PUG, randomized group in the safest way possible, are you saying casuals who do 6s and lower? Is that “normal people”? What dictates “normal” to you, a level at yours or lower? If so, that’s not what they should balance around or the game would be in an even worse meta state.
The meta dictates all levels of this game whether you want to pretend your hidden profile, casual play is something to be “proud of” or not, but the truth still remains if this goes through unchanged the meta will become 5 dracthyrs, and LFG will say “NO NON DRACS APPLY” and we will have an absolute storm of human waste here, you can pretend in your lala land of wanting to remain OP that I’m wrong, but everyone relevant to the games balance who cares about the health of it at the mid to upper level unanimously agrees, discords are full of memes around it already.
If Dracthyr could actually transmog ALL of their gear then I’d agree.
And you can do that without a meta group just fine. Ask WoW Made Easy. Works just fine in those groups. I know many a friend who run as non-mera and use WME and time keys without stress or issues.
I’m talking about how people should approach this, because the playerbase has a tendency to overreact in certain circumstances. And it would be nice if people understood it’s not a detrimental requirement that absolutely must be one no matter what. I’d love to see that mentality change.
Game should balance around what most play. Only Blizzard knows what most play, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t high progression keys.
And I’m saying that it shouldn’t.

i’m happy for folks who love dracthyr, even though i can’t really get into playing mine (it’s the wings… they’re too darn big!).
I’ll never get the image of a dracthyr riding a flying mount because they couldn’t fly themselves, out of my head. Effectively ruined the race for me before I ever really got into it.

There are all sorts of dragons that stay in their visage form to perform feats of magic, including the most notable one, ebonhorn. Why would dracthyr be any different? I wouldn’t let your choice prevent me from palying the game, why would you use yours to prevent mine?

Goofy fantasy you built for yourself.
Honestly, basically every Aspect this expansion as well as Fyrakk. The only time we see the Aspects in their Dragon Forms are on the top of the Seat of the Aspects, when they fight another Dragon, or are chilling looking at Amirdrassil from the Ancient Bough.
We also watch all 6 Aspects get empowered by Azeroth while in their Visage form. Dragons spend a lot of time in their visage forms just to appear more relatable to the playerbase.
WoW dragons just like to RP as humanoids.

I won’t care for that race as long as their visage is restricted to female humans and male belves. 
It’s still a half-finished race that shows Blizzard’s laziness. Only one body shape, no transmogs, and what’s probably the most ridiculous is having half of two races as the visage. 
Running into a melee fight is not a “feat of magic.” But sure thing.
Dracthyr aren’t dragons. They’re lizard experiments.
Because it sets a bad precedent to hear constant whining from Worgen players and if you’re more focused on what your character looks like during combat rather than what’s going on around you, then I don’t know what to say.
Like I said, I will die on this hill. It should never be any different than Worgen.

was a bit of a face slap to see all the other races as visage forms for dragons while being forced into the ones we got for dracthyr lol

Lol I thought the moral of that dracthyr visage quest wasn’t “you can look any way you want”, but was in fact “learn to accept who you are, whoever that happens to be”
“Shouldn’t” is an opinion, so it’s irrelevant to this, because your opinion changes nothing about the reality of the game and the players, who will continue to watch streams and check RIO and then proceed to exclude anyone who doesn’t conform, and allowing these racials to exist across other clients will make the problem notably worse.
The game should absolutely not be balanced around something you just said can be done easily on any class/spec, WoW made easy does the easiest content that requires no coordination of any kind; what they do is awesome, but Blizzard should definitely not use those runs as data for balance. I sell carries up to 16 and we can literally carry you border-line AFK through it, that doesn’t mean nothing should be balanced in the game. Let me know when WoW made easy throws a random comp together and times an 18-20.
And he said he couldn’t get the image out of his head. Why is that goofy? Whenever I’m in an inn on Pandaria, I can’t get the image out of my head of the drunken Human and Orc falling off their chairs from that cinematic. We all have different things that stick out in our minds when seeing something. That’s just how memories and stuff work.

Their goofy mind goblins aren’t my problem, but I do get to enjoy calling out how goofy they are.
Lore-wise they should get druids.

No. Because blizzard isn’t going to design druid forms for them.

That’s such a bad approach to this.
The customization options for Visage are great.
The males have the best beards and hairstyles, and also the earrings, horns and many good adornments.
Idk much about the females, but I’ve seen many females around with really cool visuals.
They’re not “human and belves”, they look much better imo.
