Healing is about preventing other players fun. Theres a reason the support role or healing role in any PvP game is always the least liked or played. Killing people and making flashy plays is what the majority find fun and healing is the antithesis to that. Even in PvE, no one cares about the healing meters, people want to top the damage meters to dickflex.
Theres nothing you can do to change this because this is natural player behavior.

Again this is not my personal opinion this is just a fact. its a integral role no one wants to play for the reason I have listed. Its not popular in any PvP game and the tank/dps/healer trintiy is a tired RPG mantra that doesn work for modern players.

I recently started playing Healer for the first time since Cata as an Rsham because of their offensive toolkit and Solo Shuffle being added. Being able to purge, AoE root, lasso, do big burst with Stormkeeper, and ranged kick on a short CD is really cool as a Healer. I would never want to play a Healer spec that stands 40 yards pressing a healing rotation until the match is over. I think most Healer specs should have close to as many offensive options as Rsham, but I guess it’s not needed since it’s so easy to reroll and gear now if you think another spec looks more fun.

healers don’t q because if they’re not decently above par theres a pretty good chance they’re gunna go 3/6 because 1 dps player just throttles the other 3.
this also has an inverse where you’re good at healer, but all the games are painful because the dps you’re playing with are below your skill level, and then even when you’re able to turn matches 4/2 5/1 you still can lose cr.
best to just wait and see how blizzard decides to incentivize healers for queueing solo shuffle.
personally, i am hoping for a cr protection for healers when a dps goes 5/1 or something; on top of rewards like (gold and bloody tokens/trophy of strife) for healers would be a great reward as they’re harder for healers to get in WPVP.
(maybe even make trophy sellable again on the ah, after you unlock conquest in a couple weeks)

Good dps ask me to heal them all the time so they can have more fun.
Good healers help set up kills on multiple people, and get you out of spammable cc during your burst

i mean, most my friends are healers and everyone still vibing hard. specs are cool, feelin good. that 1liner wasn’t solo shuffle specific, but the shoe fits aside from some lobby/reward flaws.
i hope we don’t see any weird changes that severely overcompensate for healers who suck.

i mean its 10% mana regen reduction… not really a big deal; we went from the least mana efficient healer to the most mana efficient healer, now they’re just trying to slightly balance us back without overcompensating. fair change.
ya decided to dust off my mw a couple days ago, wasn’t sure if i wanted to heal again but it looked too fun to ditch, and it is

I have about 300 rounds played as 4 ranged DPS specs, above 2100 on two. The only healer who needs love is RSham. Most games don’t really come down to who is the better healer is unless there’s three melee in the game zugzuging them. I can’t even tell which healers are bad at this point.
