Blizzard. Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle is by far the best and most practical weapon for the Marksmanship Hunter fantasy. You know why? It’s because of that badass drum mag the thing has. Why would it be practical for a Marksmanship Hunter? Think about it guys—
Your toon is constantly firing a plethora of different rounds onto multiple targets at a time, and those rounds need to come from somewhere. It just wouldn’t make any sense for all of those bullets and shells to be fired from one chamber. That is why I’ve always loved the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle, because it looks like it could carry all the utilities a marksman would need for combat. But the thing is, it’s the only gun in the game with a magazine, and this big chunky gun doesn’t look good with every race. Worgens are by far the most suited race for this weapon, males specifically. Male Worgens shoot from the hip, and when you’re wielding the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle, casting Barrage or Double-Tap + Rapid Fire, it looks so cool, like he’s firing an LMG. To me there’s something so badass about a werewolf running around with a big machine gun blasting demons and monsters left and right, but I want that machine gun aesthetic with all my hunters, not just my worgen. What I’m asking of you, Blizzard, is to put just a little more immersion into hunter weapons. You’ve given us scopes, stocks, reflex sights and double-barrel shotguns, but I’d absolutely love it if you took some inspiration from the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle to give us another magazine-fed weapon just like it. Thank you
This isn’t Gun Gale Online, so no.
Never heard of it
Google has been around since the 90’s I think.
I see your point, but I’m not asking for a P90 or an AK47. I’m asking for another magazine-fed gun with the usual Warcraft touch, which has been done before, Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle being my example.
That’s not a drum magazine, it’s a grossly oversized revolver cylinder.
Yes, not just a revolver rifle, but a double-barreled revolver rifle. It’s one of the stupidest weapons ever conceived of in WoW and that is a genuinely high bar.
Also, what you’re thinking of isn’t a drum magazine or a revolver but something like a gatling gun, where there are multiple rotating barrels. Or even a mitrailleuse, where there are actually separate chambers too. (Although that didn’t spin because what’s the point?)
hmmm

I can understand that it would be a frustrating design for someone of your knowledge of firearms, but I was only trying to bring it to the table as a concept more than anything else.
Fixed that for you.
The two are not mutually exclusive.
At least it’s not a sword held together by duct tape…
Wolfslayer is my go to as well. Just look at my profile. I too would love more guns that look like this, or more options with a magazine or drum. I forget which engineering rifle it was, but each rank changed how it looked. It would be pretty cool if engineers could add stuff to their rifles and it altered the way the weapon looked. Also, something that always bugged me. A scope being part of the parts needed to make a gun and then you later on add another scope to it.
Isn’t it that crazy golden-looking gun with the super tall scope?
Edit: I found it! Core Marksman Rifle!
Cool! Yea, I couldn’t remember the name. I was trying to match what the rifleman were using on the ship in Snug Harbor when I made a quasi Stormwind Rifleman using the Stormwind cosmetic armor. Used the shoulder armor and helm with the rest of my rifleman gear.
I agree OP!
Also, we need more Crossbows! There are very few Crossbows in the game when compared to other weapon types.
Yeah. Crossbows have been taking the backseat for awhile now and it’s made me a little worried.
Its an old favorite of mine, and many others. I can understand that some don’t like it due to its outdated look, but everyone has their own opinion.
Considering it’s the only one of it’s kind, yes.
In bird culture, this is considered a dick move.
I just want a pistol option. Nothing but shotguns and rifles in-game. I just want one of those old school pistols from back in the day.
