Why did implementation of glyphs stop? It’s a massive way to add more customization and personalization for peoples characters. Small things like when dracthyr use visage, the puff of smoke being a different color other than red, or having glyph of stars be transparent or golden, or more ghost wolf forms for the poor shamans who get barely anything.
There’s tons of posts about glyph ideas that can be easily implemented for the players, making their class/character more enjoyable and wouldn’t take much time or work to put in.

It didn’t really stop, as they’ve added a few Glyphs in Dragonflight.
But I agree that Blizzard is far too meek as far as glyph implementation goes, and the game would benefit immensely from having a lot more of those.
I suppose it’s a case of “we hesitate to allow players to alter spells because that could make things confusing in PvP”. Or maybe they just don’t want to spend the art resources making alternate animations for spells.
Whatever the case, I personally believe that Glyphs are the one area of character customization that’s in the worst shape of them all.

I want a glyph for the new consecration graphic the paladins in Priory have.

I want a glyph for Rogues and Hunters to use ranged weapons from their bag instead of the Outlaw Gun or the Survival Crossbow.
Warlocks have something like that, to make Felguards use a 2H weapon from your bags.

Are they like the ones from the time mega dungeon when you faced off against Lothar? The big stained-glass looking ones? If so, a glyph would be boss! Give belves an additional glyph if they want to give it a bit more Phoenix-y vibe! And Tauren a big sun dog like thing!
I recal wasn’t that added during BFA beta and removed?
There appears to be a similar effect when I cast Sacred Armaments, it’s a much, much smaller radius, though.
