More Fury nerfs?

Ok, while I was not opposed to the last small nerfs we got. The new stuff on the PTR, coming down the pipeline for the 20th anniversary is too much. I hate being a doomer, but Blizzard, please stop knee jerk responding to things. You are really gutting our M+ position with these next nerfs.

Odyn’s Fury - Unleashes your power, dealing [(122.139% of Attack power)% + (122.139% of Attack power)% + (122.139% of Attack power)% + (122.139% of Attack power)%] Physical damage and an additional (142.622% of Attack power) Physical damage over 4 sec to all enemies within 12 yards. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.5 targets.
Generates 15 Rage.

Thunderous Roar - Roar explosively, dealing (250.56% of Attack power) Physical damage to enemies within 12 yds and cause them to bleed for (250.56% of Attack power) physical damage over 8 sec. Deals reduced damage beyond 85 targets.

These two changes are absolutely stupid. If they do this to Fury, then it needs to be done to ALL classes. Very unacceptable.

Last time they did this in SL, doom happened. So TLDR, they won’t do that

I know it was. It wasn’t fun then, it won’t be fun now.
Just this time it’s so far only us getting the shaft. Seems pretty stupid if you ask me.

It’s stupid to keep nerfing this spec just because of dumb raid design on adds that are largely meaningless and pad damage except on maybe 2-3 fights.

If these spells have to be nerfed then we need compensation elsewhere imo.

There is more to the game than adds that flop over in the raid and align almost perfectly with Odyn Fury.

Agreed, which is why this really isn’t nerfing warriors in Raid. It’s just gonna end up gutting Fury for M+. It was a knee jerk reaction. Most people didn’t have tier, we didn’t have M+ out for more than a week, and this is the result. SMH.

If they do give us something to compensate… well, I’m not holding my breath.

I don’t understand these changes. Fury is dead last on boss damage in raid and behind ret, frost DK and other classes in M+.

Indeed. The logs show that crystal clear, but when (whoever is in charge of balance), looks at the overall and see Fury was able to pad on every trash pack and adds they couldn’t help themselves.
Looking at this data though, I highly doubt it will change the overall pad in raid. It will only gut Fury when it comes to M+.
It’s not only Fury hit by this, Arms and Prot use Roar and will also get the nerf. It really makes no sense.

We are in the bottom half of the pack in AOE already and are the bottom spot for ST. Not sure what the hell Blizzard is looking at because they are basically killing off our spec. Nobody is gonna want us in M+ cuz our dps sucks and we have no Utility. Why bring a warrior when they can bring a Ret pally and get great dps and Utility. Makes no damn sense to me. I hope Blizzard wakes the hell up and reverse all the nerfs we have had and stop nerfing us constantly. Go nerf pallies, mages, and Shaman instead please.

Ret pallies are so OP too!!

This is mostly because of the recent WCL changes that removed Rasha’nan adds from the logs, we were at the top of overall before the removal. Admittedly if Blizzard is basing this upcoming nerf upon this then we are cooked since current Fury design will cause this to keep happening.

If you ignore add burst in raid, fury is below aug. think about that. They have one of the lowest single targets in the entire game right now, the only thing it’s good at is bursting adds. This nerf WILL kill this spec.

Also not sure how Havoc, ENH and Frost DK are dodging nerfs and they keep trashcanning a spec that never has been all that special. Warriors already don’t get picked for M+ because stale vanilla class that doesn’t bring anything special (not really), and now or burst AOE is just gutted. So now we’re not that great in raid and now even worse in M+.

Thanks Blizz, guess im boned for gearing up.

Because their class isn’t call Warrior lol.

Remember when games weren’t balanced around the top .01% of players? Good times.

This isn’t even a .01% player thing. This is just a straight up knee jerk reaction to Fury’s AoE burst stealing the pad damage of other classes.
This is quickly looking like it’s gonna go back to Shadowlands days.

Yeah, while I don’t disagree with you at all, my thinking was that Liquid has 2 Fury Warriors = They must need a nerf since there’s only 1 Rogue!! Rogue must need a big buff since there’s only 1!

Feint is now off the GCD

That burst worked only in Normal/Heroic/M0 dungeons and while other AOE specs were undergeared. The reason why Fury shined the first 2 weeks is low mobs HP pool and inability of other specs to catch up to Fury’s fast burst while low ilvl.

Now that everyone has good ilvl and mobs have way more HP in M+, Fury’s burst worth jack ***. Every single other AOE spec will outdps Fury’s burst due to prolonged fights.

But simple minded devs cant understand that, gotta at least graduate from High School to have common sense and be able to apply logic.

Behind an Aug Evoker support class too… LOL warrior devs don’t know how to read charts.

To be fair, we’re warriors. We also can’t read

I’d like to see deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets applied to whirlwind cleave! No more target cap!
