Show of hands: who else is hungry for fresh fishing goodies and achievements? Cool new mounts and fun toys to reel in? Fishing is one of my favorite pastimes in the game. I miss the adventures!

EDIT : I changed my mind. I think a lot of fun things could be added to fishing. I hope they revisit this currently pretty useless game profession.

Yes! Some of the best times I’ve had in game were in the Legion fishing raids.

After how awesome fishing was in legion it’s hard to get excited about what it has become. Add to that the shear quantity of fish required to make feasts and the tedium destroyed any interest I had in fishing.
It would be nice to see new life breathed into it but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it to happen.

I’m still waiting for an explosive consumable to use on fish schools so they all float to the top for collection.

Legion. Artifact rod could spawn a barrel bomb and you looted the entire pool at once.

I’ve done enough bombing run dailies to be proficient at tossing a grenade into the water. Let us carry around a stack of them to speed up fishing.

I don’t even do fishing WQs for those junk fish unless I really need some credit, should at least offer you 20 of the non default dudes to make it maybe slightly more tempting.

I personally hope Blizzard adds more fishing achievements into the game. Currently I’ve got every fishing achievement earned on my main.
Would really love it if Blizzard added more fishing events such as the Stranglethorn and Northrend fishing events that occur weekly. Perhaps add more rewards for the top three winners to choose from.

It is one of those things that would really add to the game not everybody likes fishing but those of us who do that part of the game is been neglected big time since warlords and Legion that was probably the best thing about the Garrison was the fishing

They used to have that - it was called the Goblin Fishing Pole.
It may still exist in Classic, but it was removed from the current game.
