Because those infused with death magic (like the forsaken) have about as much luck as those infused with void when it comes to wielding the light. Which is to say, none.
You can pile dead bodies in your yard for all I care but when what you are doing in your yard starts to spill over and affect things in my yard, why would I not get irritated?
Also, if we’re talking logical. Where’s the logic in asking for blonde haired, blue eyed paladins on alliance when they are already in existence on the horde side?
How is it spilling over and affecting your yard?
You do know what happened to Calia Menethil don’t you?
Gosh I said I didn’t want to derail my thread and here I am
Explain High Inquisitor Fairbanks to me… He can cast heal.
Unless I am logging in your account and forcing you to change your Void Elf skins and Entropic Embrace effects, or creating Void Elf Paladins (regardless of how unlikely those are in my opinion), no, you are entirely unaffected by these requests.
She was a very specific example that had a naaru step in. Also, she’s not a Forsaken.
You can’t design an entire race off one unique instance.
Also, I like the more void aspects of your idea. That’s kind of cool
Please see above. Also, he has strong enough will that be bends the light to his will and is in constant agonizing pain the entire time he does it.
Really? So you’re saying that when Kael’thas destroyed the Sunwell after it had been tainted by Arthas resurrecting Kel’thuzad, that somehow all those elves stopped being “true Thalassians”?
The whole reason Silvermoon was relying on fel energy was because until the end of TBC, all Thalassians were cut off from the Sunwell.
So I’m gonna go with a “no” on being connected to the Sunwell being a prerequisite for being a High Elf.
Hmmm admit the High Elves tattoo we seen with Alleria and Nozdormu High Elf Model is something I always wanted with my Blood/Void Elves characters…
I love them be added but also like if we get a bit of a difference between Void elf tattoos mimicking Alleria to the Blood Elves who can mimic the Lightforge golden plated ones (cuz Holy light in Sunwell)… to maybe both having normal looking ones to even having a bit of fel demonic ones since some were Blood Elves who fed a bit before they left to try Void food?
Hmmm then again, with the Fel if be better left for when Void elves and Nightborn join the ranks of the DH…I guess.
You know to keep at least a bit of Faction identity without losing to much of their history as time has pass in WoW. (IMO)
Alonsus Faol.
“one unique instance.”
We’re at 3.
Where did I ever say I wanted void elf holy priests? I never said that anywhere in any of my posts.
I personally think they shouldn’t be able to exist but arguing game mechanics is pointless because they can’t restrict specs on certain races… I mean they could but they wouldn’t want to.
Also, before someone jumps on to me with that “options” arguement. I’m fine with options. I was happy to hear about the new customization options. I defended your right to rp high elves.
Then you asked for more, and more…and now I don’t believe you would stop. Not until the void elves just become the high elves.
If I thought you’d stop with a bit more customization and maybe a glyph or two. I’d be cool. But I don’t. Certain individuals have proven to me that its not going to be the case.
Personally, what I’d like at the very least, is the option to change all Holy effects into void colored effects on my Voild Elf Holy Priest. It would be a purely visual change but one I’d welcome and it’s not like there aren’t already shadow based healing spells in game.
Umm I got a question. With current new customization options for void elves. I can play as high elf right ? Or during combat it turns into purple skin ??
Plenty of people cast Holy/Light magic even though it hurts them though.
Alleria and Turalyon didn’t get divorced. =P
So normal Paladins are fine.
Paladin void glyphs would be dope though.
During combat your skin will stay its normal color so long as the Entropic Embrace proc isn’t in effect. The proc lasts 10 seconds and happens roughly once every minute. It’s no more obtrusive than any number of trinket procs. It’s not like Worgen who are forced into Worgen form when entering combat and must remain in Worgen form for the entirety of combat.
Kind of what this thread is about.
Right now you’ll turn purple. But… they may be able to glyph it. Racial abilities are still in the spell book.
Right. You’re right. I did forget about him. So we’re up to…two forsaken and a naaru gifted independent undead.
Huge population size. I don’t know what I was thinking.
To be clear your skin won’t be purple for the entirety of combat… you’ll just have 10 second stints of being a different color when your racial procs. It’s not like Worgen who cannot be in Human form when in combat.
It’s ok. We all make mistakes.
