More Druid / Shaman / Paladin Class Combos coming?

Hey,

Are we adding more class combos?

I bought a race change on my druid that has been sitting for 12 years waiting for Belf / Velf / Human / Druid.

I have a Pally race change waiting for Velf Pally.

I have a Shaman race change waiting for Velf Shaman.

Any news?

Any word Blizzard?!

I’M TIRED OF THE LACK OF OPTIONS

Also add

Velf / Nightborne DH ---- > They use the same bodies and animations.

Dracthyr Druids / Shamans / Monks / Pally

Like come on blizz you said you were working on this we have been waiting forever!

I certainly hope now that Dracthyr got some more classes, they’ve gone back to expanding at least Paladin and Shaman to more races. I would love to play a Forsaken Paladin and Worgen Shaman.

New totem or class mount art just isn’t possible guys, sorry!

Looks at the cash shop casually

I just want to be a mechagnome everything. 3 of the 4 classes I play can’t be mechagnomes. It’s machinist.

Dwarf druid would be sick

Earthen with the people devoted to Freya should have Druid as an option at least.

I was hoping the Warcraft Direct/2025 Roadmap would’ve shown that off today. It’s possible they get back to it when they update the roadmap patch-by-patch, but maybe they’ve changed their philosophy. Hopefully they keep “hearing the players loud and clear” and give us more combos soon.

I know right.

I didn’t care about a single thing I was just waiting for more class combos and not a word was mentioned.

Zzzzz

Well they have officially announced all the base starting classes will be available to all races in time.

It’s honestly now more of a “when” will they be available…. Eventually you will be able to make your race/class combos you mentioned just who knows when. :pensive:

If anything, I expect when Illidan returns to see us get Demon Hunters added to more races. In a similar vein as what happened with the Death Knights.

I wish this were still the case…Holinka said this right before Dragonflight, then he quit Blizzard. Hazzikostas has since backtracked in an interview, saying how the Cenarion Circle or the Silver Hand likely wouldn’t recruit other races, or something to that effect.

I’d love a gnome druid with Kitten form, baby moonkinform, teddy bear form, sappling form and baby bird flight form.

I don’t really care for any of the current druid races so more druid races will always get support from me.

Would love this. Dragon bears, dragon cats, dragon dragons.

Sign me up.

I’m quite surprised how Night Elves didn’t get to be Shamans at this point, given their connection to nature, and more surprisingly that Warlocks came first.

I really love Shaman, but I don’t like any Alliance races that can be them.

The answer is incredibly simple sadly. Warlocks require no extra work while Shamans have the arbitrary requirement of new totems needing to be made.

It’s actually just one totem, because they are the same with different particle effects.

All and all, I feel it’s much easier to design that - a stationary asset that doesn’t have real character movement - than for example druid forms for new races.

There’s actually slight differences so it’s an edited single totem model. Multiply that by how many races are missing Shaman because they seem to want to drop them all at once and yeah…

Just a quick count via the creation screen… looks like:

Shaman need assets for 10 races.

Paladins need assets for 15 races.

Druids need assets for 16 races.

I didn’t count the Earthen or Dracthyr…

Just some data.
