I’m sure this is a tired opinion, but with the new Drac classes being made available, I’m going to complain a bit about the fact that they cant wear armor. Just shoulders, apron-tabards, and a belt. I understand blizz put work into the barber shop armor, but it just doesn’t work for me, and many others. I’ve seen a few people say “Just play in visage form if you want to see your armor” bro… why the fudge would I play the dragon race, just to place as a friggen elf, I mean come on bro. IDC why people go to bat for this company being lazy, they have a but-ton of resources, please just make it so they can wear armor, think how cool a drac would look in full plate, or robed up. There’s no excuse. I know it’ll take work, but uh, do it? Also while I’m whining, let me pic a dif race for my visage form. Also give me 5 billion dollars, thanks.
Dracthyr opening up to other classes means blizzard doesn’t care and won’t fix it.
They’re eventually going to fold and let evokers stay perma visage and we’ll never see the Dracthyr model again
Its very lazy race design, and expecting Blizzard to do this within the next 20 years (if ever) is sadly unrealistic.
Like they didn’t even give the DRAGON CLASS shamans but have warlocks???

I don’t think a single dragon has ever even used fel or summon demons?
Maybe they did it as a homiage for the netherwings joining back with the flights… but what about the Primals? The aspect of Storms
Shaman have unique racial totems. Blizzard did not want to make new ones for dracthyr.
Unfortunately I imagine you’re right, I honestly got worked up and wrote this post because I was reading comments on wowhead of players defending this blatant laziness, I can’t believe that they cannot be druids, considering the green dragonflight and all, but druids would require extra assets and more work than just checking some boxes, same reason we didnt get shamans. I just hate that so many people are fine with subpar behavior from a billion dollar corporation
They’re not going to redesign 20 years of armour from every expansion so they fit on Dracthyr. It’s too much of a workload and they have deemed it’s not worth the investment.
It will never happen, the sooner people come to terms with this the happier they’ll be.
